Faithful Servant
Pray that I will get a permanent job as a Business Analyst or similar so that I can have the money to for travelling in Malaysia as I had applied to some of the jobs and now it is So now ### -> Pending Second interview, ### applied still pending, ### applied still pending interview so pray for this as I don't know where the lord is leading me to and this time round is must be permanent and prevent me from those interviews that will not work out. And also for the marriage life with ### as it is developing and we meet in the Church. Rebuke the spirit of negativity and calling to change jobs which I don't like and does not coincide with the education. Ask Jesus to speed things up and provide during the season of wait.

We lift you up before the Lord, seeking His perfect will for your life in every area, especially in your career and the relationship you’ve mentioned. First, we rejoice that you are seeking God’s direction in these matters, for He alone knows the plans He has for you—plans for welfare and not for calamity, to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB). Yet we must also address a few things with love and truth, for the Word of God is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105, WEB).

You’ve asked for prayer regarding a permanent job as a Business Analyst or similar, and we join you in this request, trusting that the Lord will open the right door in His timing. The Bible reminds us to commit our works to the Lord, and our thoughts will be established (Proverbs 16:3, WEB). We pray that He will guide you to the position that aligns with His purpose for your life, one that not only provides for your needs but also allows you to use your gifts for His glory. You’ve mentioned interviews that are pending, and we ask the Lord to go before you, granting you favor with those in authority (Proverbs 16:7, WEB). If there are doors that are not His will, we pray He will close them firmly so you do not waste time pursuing what is not meant for you. Remember, our God is not a God of confusion but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33, WEB), and He will make His path clear as you seek Him.

We also notice your mention of traveling to Malaysia, and while there is nothing wrong with travel, we encourage you to examine your heart: is this desire rooted in contentment in Christ, or is it tied to a longing for fulfillment outside of Him? The Lord calls us to seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to us (Matthew 6:33, WEB). Let us not be anxious about tomorrow, for each day has enough trouble of its own (Matthew 6:34, WEB). Trust that if travel is part of His plan, He will provide the means in His perfect timing.

Now, regarding the relationship you’ve mentioned—this is where we must speak with clarity and love. You describe a "marriage life" developing with someone you meet in church, but you do not mention whether this person is your spouse or if you are in a biblically honorable courtship with the intent of marriage. The Word of God is clear that marriage is a covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God to reflect Christ’s relationship with His Church (Ephesians 5:31-32, WEB). If you are not yet married, we urge you to pursue this relationship with purity, intentionality, and a focus on godly marriage. Flee from any hint of sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB), for the body is not meant for fornication but for the Lord. If this relationship is outside the bounds of marriage, we strongly encourage you to repent and realign your steps with Scripture, seeking accountability and wisdom from mature believers in your church.

The Bible warns us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). If this person is not a committed follower of Christ, you must prayerfully consider whether this relationship honors God. A marriage built on anything less than a shared faith in Jesus Christ will face unnecessary struggles. Pray together, seek godly counsel, and ensure that your relationship is centered on Christ and moving toward a Christ-honoring marriage—if that is God’s will.

You’ve also asked us to rebuke the spirit of negativity and the temptation to change jobs frequently. We do so now in the name of Jesus, commanding every spirit of discouragement, confusion, and discontent to flee from you. The enemy would love to keep you in a cycle of instability, but the Lord desires to establish your steps (Psalm 37:23, WEB). We pray that God will give you a spirit of excellence and perseverance, rooting you in the work He has prepared for you. If there has been a pattern of job-hopping that does not align with wisdom or stewardship, we encourage you to seek God’s forgiveness and ask Him to teach you patience and diligence in your labor (Colossians 3:23, WEB).

Finally, we must address the absence of the name of Jesus in your request. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB), and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, WEB). When we pray, we are to come boldly before the throne of grace in His name (Hebrews 4:16, WEB). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9, WEB). Without faith in Christ, all our efforts—even our prayers—are in vain. But in Him, we have hope, purpose, and the promise of His provision.

**Our Prayer for You:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks Your guidance and provision. Lord, You know the desires of their heart, and we ask that You align those desires with Your perfect will. Open the right door for permanent employment, a position that not only meets their financial needs but also allows them to serve You with excellence. Close every door that is not of You, and grant them discernment to recognize Your leading. Remove every spirit of negativity, confusion, and discontent, and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

Father, we pray for the relationship they’ve mentioned. If it is not yet a marriage, we ask that You would guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Let this relationship be pure, honorable, and directed toward a godly marriage if it is Your will. If this person is not a believer, we pray for conviction and salvation in their life. If there is any sin in this relationship, we ask for repentance and realignment with Your Word. Let no temptation to fornication or emotional compromise take root, but let Your Holy Spirit guide them into righteousness.

Lord, we rebuke every scheme of the enemy to bring discouragement or distraction. Speed up what needs to be sped up, and slow down what needs to wait, all for Your glory. Provide for them in this season of waiting, and teach them to trust in You alone. If they have not yet surrendered fully to Christ, we pray for a revelation of His love and lordship in their life. Draw them closer to You, and let every decision be made in submission to Your Word.

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness. You are our Provider, our Guide, and our Redeemer. May Your will be done in their life, in Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.
