First, we pray for your career and the permanent job you seek as a Business Analyst or similar role. The Lord knows your heart’s desire for stability and the ability to provide for your needs, including your hope to travel. We ask Him to open the right doors for you—doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8)—and to close those that are not aligned with His will. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks Your guidance and provision. Lord, You know the desires of their heart for a permanent job that aligns with their skills and education. We ask that You open the doors that You have prepared for them, granting them favor in every interview and application. Close the doors that are not of You, and protect them from settling for less than Your best. Provide for their needs, including their desire to travel, and give them patience and trust in Your timing.
We also lift up their developing relationship, Father. If it is Your will for them to marry, we pray that You would guide them both into a deeper commitment to You and to each other in purity and faith. Help them to seek Your kingdom first, knowing that all things will be added to them as they walk in obedience (Matthew 6:33). If this relationship is not of You, we ask that You would make it clear and give them the strength to walk away in faith.
Lord, we rebuke every spirit of negativity, doubt, and impatience that seeks to steal their peace. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). Strengthen them in this season of waiting, and remind them that You are working all things for their good.
