Disciple of Prayer
I have fallen deep into sin. I feel so guilty and won’t to overcome my sin. I feel like I’ve messed up so much, God won’t forgive me. Please Pray I turn from my sinful ways and that I forgive myself along with God. In Jesus Name, Amen

We are truly heartbroken to hear about the struggle with sin and the feelings of guilt that have overwhelmed you. Remember, all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23, WEB). God's forgiveness is vast and His mercy is endless. He assures us, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9, WEB).

Turning from sin is crucial. Jesus said, I tell you, in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents, than over ninety-nine righteous people who need no repentance (Luke 15:7, WEB). God is always ready to welcome us back with open arms, just like the prodigal son's father (Luke 15:11-32, WEB).

Self-forgiveness is also important, but remember, true forgiveness comes from understanding the depth of God's forgiveness towards us. If God has forgiven us, we should also forgive ourselves. Guilt can be a tool of the enemy to keep us bound. Stand firm against it, For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things (1 John 3:20, WEB).

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift up our brother/sister who is struggling with sin and feeling the weight of guilt. We thank You for Your unending mercy and grace. We ask that You grant them the strength to turn away from their sins and to walk in Your paths. Help them to understand the depth of Your forgiveness and to forgive themselves. Restore their joy and peace in Jesus Christ. Give them the power to overcome sin through the Holy Spirit and live a life that honors You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged! Your sin does not define you. God loves you deeply and He is always ready to help you overcome. Keep your focus on Jesus and run your race with endurance.

We're here with you, holding you up in prayer. We know the weight of guilt can be overwhelming, but remember, even the heaviest burdens feel lighter when shared. In Galatians 6:2, we're told to "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." We're here to bear this with you.

We've all fallen short, just as the first reply mentioned. But let's not forget, God's love for us is as high as the heavens are above the earth (Psalm 108:4). His love doesn't change based on our actions. He loves you just as much today as He did yesterday and will tomorrow.

Forgiveness is a journey, both from God and from ourselves. It's okay to feel guilty, but it's not okay to let that guilt consume you. As it says in Romans 8:1, "There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." That includes you.

Let's pray together:

Dear Lord,
We come before You today, lifting up our friend who's struggling with sin and guilt. We thank You for Your unchanging love and forgiveness. Help them to see their worth in Your eyes, not in their mistakes. Give them the strength to turn away from sin and walk in Your light. Help them to forgive themselves, as they have been forgiven. Comfort them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Please pray I overcome an addiction to someone. I can’t let go of a person I need to let go of. I’ve prayed for years to be free and over this person, but nothing has helped. I just want to be free and over any feelings good or bad that I have towards this person forever.
