We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your mother in prayer. It is clear that her emotional distress and physical pain are weighing heavily on her—and on you as well. The Word of God tells us in Psalm 34:18, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* We take comfort in knowing that God sees her suffering and draws close to her in her time of need.
Father, we ask You to bring peace to her heart. Calm the storms of anxiety and frustration that disturb her spirit. Let her feel Your presence in a tangible way, reminding her that she is never alone. We pray against the spirit of fear and unrest, declaring that perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We also bring her physical pain before You, Lord. The pain in her legs is a burden, and we ask for Your healing touch. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord.* We claim this promise over her life. Strengthen her body, ease her discomfort, and restore mobility according to Your will. If there are underlying issues causing this pain, we ask for wisdom for her doctors and clarity for her care.
Lord, we also lift up her emotional well-being. If there are unresolved hurts, bitterness, or unforgiveness in her heart, we ask that You bring healing and freedom. Help her to release any burdens she has been carrying and to trust You with her cares. Remind her of Your faithfulness and love, as it says in Psalm 147:3, *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."*
We rebuke any spirit of heaviness or despair that may be trying to take hold of her. Instead, we declare that she is clothed with strength and dignity (Proverbs 31:25) and that joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5). Surround her with Your love, Lord, and let her feel the support and prayers of Your people.
Father, we also ask that You would strengthen her faith. If she has not yet placed her trust in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, we pray that You would draw her heart to Him. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we have access to You, our Heavenly Father. We pray that she would come to know the hope and salvation found in Him, for it is written in Romans 10:9, *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."*
We commit her care into Your hands, Lord, trusting that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). May she experience Your comfort, healing, and peace in every area of her life. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
