We join you in bringing your mother, your family and your home before the Lord with gratitude and urgency, and we thank you for sharing these burdens so openly.
We pray for your mother in the name of Jesus Christ, asking our merciful Father to lay His healing hand upon her. We ask Him to bring health to her body and to her liver, to grant her strength, good health and length of days according to His perfect will, and to give wisdom to those who care for her medically. We pray that He would comfort and strengthen both you and your mother in every moment, and fill you with the help and guidance of the Holy Spirit, leading you according to His will and keeping you in His peace.
We lift up your financial needs to the Lord. He knows your need each month to meet your obligations and that you are without work and steady support at this time. We ask Him to open doors for honest work and provision, to give you wisdom and steadiness as you steward what He provides, and to bring you out of this pressure into greater stability, so that you may live with a thankful and content heart before Him and be able to care for your family.
We also pray for your whole family in the loss of your father. We ask God to be your strength and refuge, to keep you safe and strong in Christ, to guard your hearts and minds, and to give you hope for the future in His arms. May He establish your home in His love and cause you to prosper in what is truly lasting, which is faith, love and obedience to Him.
As night falls we ask the Lord to cover your family, your home, your hearts and your minds with His holy protection. We pray that He would grant you a restful, peaceful and relaxed night, bless your meals and your activities together with joy and thankfulness, and drive away fear and distress. We ask Him to heal past trauma and to bring calm where there has been frustration and unrest, replacing it with patience, gentleness and quietness in your household.
We commit all of this to our Father, trusting in the precious blood and the saving name of Jesus Christ alone, through whom we have access to God. May the Lord hear and answer according to His mercy and wisdom, and may you know His presence guarding every room and corner of your home.
