We hear the deep pain and heaviness in your heart and we join with you in bringing all of this before the Lord together in Jesus name. You are carrying financial burdens and debts, strife with your in-laws, hurt over your marriage and family, and fear over your job and position, and it has left you feeling anxious, depressed and forgotten by God. We want to gently and lovingly speak truth over these feelings because God has not forgotten you and He has not blessed the wrong people while cursing you.
We must lovingly correct the idea of karma and the thought that God blesses the wicked and curses those who try to do good. Karma is not a biblical truth. The Bible teaches that God is just and merciful and His justice is not karma but His perfect righteousness in His perfect timing. Do not be envious of those who seem to prosper while doing evil. Psalm 37:1 says Do not fret because of evildoers, neither be envious against those who work unrighteousness. Psalm 37:5 says Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this. Romans 12:19 says Do not seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord. The Lord sees every tear, every harsh word spoken behind your back, every injustice and every financial struggle, and He will bring justice in His way and time. Romans 8:28 reminds us We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose.
We also hear your prayer that your mother in law and your husband would be shown the selfish and cunning faces of others and that they would be taught a lesson and forced to admit their mistakes. We understand the desire for vindication when you have been hurt and slandered, but we must encourage you to release bitterness and the desire for revenge and instead forgive and pray for those who have hurt you. Ephesians 4:31 says Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. Ephesians 4:32 says And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. Matthew 5:44 says Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. Instead of praying for exposure to shame them, we pray that God would bring truth to light for the sake of repentance, healing and reconciliation, and that He would soften every heart including your own, so that misunderstanding and fights are replaced with peace. A marriage is a lifelong covenant before God between a man and a woman, and we strongly uphold your marriage. We pray for restoration of love, trust and faith between you and your husband, that you would be a godly example to your son, and that any evil influences or bad eyes would be kept far from your home as you both seek to honor God together.
For your financial and work anxieties, we encourage you to cast your cares on Him. 1 Peter 5:7 says casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. Philippians 4:6 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:7 says And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. God promises to provide for His children, Philippians 4:19 says My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and Matthew 6:33 says But seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. We encourage you to continue to work diligently and with integrity before your directors and bosses, to trust God with your position and your work from home, and to rest in Proverbs 3:5 says Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:6 says In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Even if the outcome is not exactly as you hope, God remains faithful and will not let you down.
We lift you up together now in prayer.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, the only name by which we have access to You and by which we are saved, and we lift up our sister to Your throne of grace. Lord, You see her debts, her monthly obligations, her financial crises and her fear of losing her position as senior executive. Provide for her needs according to Your riches, grant her wisdom to steward what she has, and calm her heart where there is anxiety, fear and depression. Hold her in Your arms today and let Your peace guard her heart and mind. We ask for Your favor at her workplace, that if it is Your will, her directors and bosses would have a change of heart and she would be established in her work, and we submit even her desire for work from home to Your perfect will. Lord, bless her husband and her son with good health, positivity, love and peace. Restore love and trust between husband and wife, remove division and let their marriage reflect Your covenant love, for the good of their child and for Your glory. We pray for her mother in law, her brother in law and his wife, and her sisters in law, forgive them where they have gossiped and created strife, soften their hearts, bring truth and repentance, and bring reconciliation where there is misunderstanding. Remove all bitterness from our sister's heart and help her to forgive as You have forgiven her. Help her to not grow weary in doing good, to trust that You are just, that You have not forgotten her, and that You are working even in this painful season for her good. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
