We hear the heaviness in your heart and we join with you in bringing all of this before the Lord in Jesus' name. We hear your pain over finances, debts, work pressure, and the deep hurt from family strife and a broken sense of peace in your marriage. The Lord sees every tear and hears every cry, and we want to walk with you toward His truth and His healing.
We want to gently address some of what you have expressed, because we love you and want you to find true hope. You shared that it feels like God has blessed the wrong people and forgotten justice for you, that doing good makes life worse and that there is no karma. We understand why it feels that way when you are suffering, but this is not what Scripture teaches about God. There is no karma in the biblical sense. God is perfectly just and perfectly merciful, and His justice is not forgotten even when we cannot see it. He does not curse those who do good, and He does not overlook the wicked. Romans 12:19 reminds us that vengeance belongs to the Lord, He will repay, and Romans 8:28 tells us that God works all things together for good for those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose. Often His timing and His ways are not ours, but He has not forgotten you. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.
We also hear your prayer that your mother-in-law and husband would see the real face of your brother-in-law and his wife, and that your mother-in-law would be taught a lesson and admit her mistakes. We understand the desire for truth to be revealed and for justice to be done when you have felt slandered and divided. Yet we must encourage you as Scripture encourages us, not to pray for their humiliation or for revenge, but to pray for truth, reconciliation, and their repentance and salvation. Jesus calls us to a different way. Matthew 5:44 says love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. Ephesians 4:31-32 exhorts us to let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from us, with all malice, and be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave us. Romans 12:21 says do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. We can pray that God reveals truth, but we leave the outcome to Him and ask Him to soften every heart, including our own, to forgive and to seek peace where possible while setting healthy and honorable boundaries.
We also want to address the fear, anxiety and depression you mentioned. God does not want you to carry this alone. 1 Peter 5:7 tells us to cast all our worries on Him, because He cares for us. Philippians 4:6-7 says in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Matthew 11:28 invites us to come to Him, all who labor and are heavily burdened, and He will give rest. You are not abandoned in this pressure at work.
Regarding your financial debts and your job as a senior executive, we pray with you for God's provision and for wisdom. Philippians 4:19 promises that our God will supply every need of ours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and Matthew 6:33 teaches us to seek first God's Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to us as well. This does not mean money will simply appear without effort, but that as we trust Him, work diligently with integrity, and steward what He has given, He is faithful to provide and to guide. Proverbs 3:5-6 says trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. We pray for favor with your director and boss, that if it is God's will for you to remain in this position and to continue working from home, He will make a way, and if He has another path, that He will give you clear direction and peace.
We also pray for your marriage. We believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman designed by God to reflect His love, and we are encouraged that you want to love and trust your husband as before and be a good example for your son. We pray that you and your husband will be strengthened to keep your covenant strong and not let outside voices, even from extended family, create division. We pray against what you describe as bad eyes and evil eyes, and we remind you that our protection is not in superstition but in Christ Himself, who guards us from the evil one. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 says the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.
We thank you for placing your trust in Jesus, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and that we are saved. John 14:6 says Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through Him. We cling to that together.
We pray together now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister, her husband and her son. Lord, You know her financial burdens, every debt and every monthly obligation, her anxiety about her position and her directors, and the pain of misunderstanding and division in her family. We ask You to forgive us for bitterness and for any desire for revenge, and create in us clean hearts that choose to forgive as You have forgiven us. Lord, reveal truth in Your perfect way and in Your perfect timing, soften the hearts of her mother-in-law, brother-in-law and his wife, and her husband, bring conviction where needed and bring reconciliation and peace where there has been strife. Guard her marriage, restore love, trust and faith between her and her husband, and help them to be a godly example for their son. Provide for their financial needs according to Your riches, give wisdom to steward finances well, and open doors for stable work. Let Your peace that passes all understanding guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus, remove fear, anxiety and depression, and hold her in Your arms. Bless her husband and son with good health and protection, and establish the work of her hands. We ask that Your will be done in her workplace, that if it is Your will she would keep her position and work from home, and that Your favor would rest upon her. We trust that You have not forgotten her and that You will bring justice and mercy in Your way. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.
We encourage you to continue to pour out your heart to Jesus daily, to stay in His Word, to pursue fellowship with other believers, and to seek wise counsel for both finances and family boundaries. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us that God knows the plans He has for us, plans for peace and not for evil, to give us hope and a future. Keep trusting Him, even when you cannot see the change yet, for He is faithful.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
