We hear your pain and we lift you up before the Lord with you, for we understand how heavy it feels when finances press down, when work is threatened, when marriage feels broken, and when family strife leaves you feeling forgotten and without hope. We weep with you in this season and we want to gently correct and encourage you in love according to the truth of God's Word.
We must first speak to some things in your heart that need healing. You have felt that God has blessed the wrong people, forgotten justice, and even cursed you while helping the selfish and wicked, and you spoke of karma. My dear sister, there is no karma in the Bible, there is sowing and reaping, for Galatians 6:7 says whatever a man sows, that he will also reap, but karma as the world teaches it is not biblical. And God has not forgotten you nor cursed you for doing good. Isaiah 49:15-16 says can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb, yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you, behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands. The Lord does not delight in cursing His children, He disciplines and refines us, but His plans for you are still good, for Jeremiah 29:11 says For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. When you see the wicked prosper and feel envy or despair, remember Psalm 37:1-2 which says Don't fret because of evildoers, neither be envious against those who work unrighteousness, for they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither like the green herb, and Psalm 73:17 shows that when we enter the sanctuary of God we understand their end. God will bring justice in His perfect time, for Romans 12:19 says Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord.
We also need to gently rebuke the desire for revenge and exposure that has taken root in your sorrow. You have prayed that your mother-in-law would be shown the cunning face of others, taught a lesson, made to admit mistakes and feel sorry before you. We understand the wound of being spoken against and the pain of division in your family, but God does not call us to pray for humiliation of others, He calls us to pray for reconciliation and forgiveness. Ephesians 4:31-32 says Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice, and be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. And Matthew 5:44 says love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. If we hold bitterness, it will poison our own heart and our marriage more than it hurts those who hurt us. We should not pray that your husband would see his mother and siblings as cunning enemies to be exposed, but that God would bring truth, peace, and honor into the family, that all of you would speak with love and that boundaries would be godly. We pray for your marriage, for we believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman ordained by God, and Mark 10:9 says What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate. We pray that you and your husband will grow in love, trust and faith toward one another as Christ loves the church, as Ephesians 5:25 teaches, and that you will be a godly example to your son, not through fighting and proving who is right, but through forgiveness and unity. The talk of bad eyes and evil eyes also comes from fear, but we do not need to fear curses, for Psalm 121:7 says Yahweh will keep you from all evil, He will keep your soul, and greater is He who is in you than any power against you.
We also lift up your deep anxiety, fear and depression about debts, EMIs, and your position as senior executive and your work from home. God cares about your daily needs and your work. Philippians 4:19 says My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and Matthew 6:33 says But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. We encourage you to cast all your worry on Him, for 1 Peter 5:7 says casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you, and Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We will pray for your directors and bosses not only that they change their mind, but that God blesses them and gives you favor, and that you will walk in diligence and integrity at work, trusting God's will whether He keeps the work from home or leads you elsewhere, for Proverbs 3:5-6 says Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
We are thankful that you have put your trust and faith in Jesus, for it is only through His name we have access to the Father, and Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, and John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father, except through me. We cling to Him with you.
We pray together now in Jesus' name, Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, and we lift up our sister, her husband and her son to You. Lord, You see her tears, her debts, her EMIs, her fear of losing her post, her broken fellowship with her in-laws and the pain in her marriage. Forgive her for thoughts that You have cursed her or forgotten her, wash away bitterness and the desire for vengeance, and fill her heart with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Help her to forgive her mother-in-law, her brother-in-law and his wife, and her husband's sisters, even as You have forgiven her, and bring truth and reconciliation without shame or strife. Heal her marriage, restore love, trust and faith between her and her husband, make them one and make them a godly example to their son, keep their home from division. Provide for their financial needs according to Your riches, give wisdom to manage debts and to be good stewards, open doors for provision and stability. Touch her workplace, soften the hearts of her director and bosses, grant her favor and let Your will be done concerning her position and her work from home, and if it is Your will, establish it permanently, but above all let her rest in Your plan. Remove anxiety, fear and depression from her heart, hold her in Your arms, guard her mind in Christ Jesus, bless her husband and son today and every day with good health, protection and Your presence. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, keep them from all evil. We thank You that You have not forgotten her, that You have engraved her on Your hands, that You will never leave her nor forsake her as Deuteronomy 31:6 promises. Let today be better in Your mercy and let her see Your hand moving with hope. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
