Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. The devil is a coward; he attacks most fiercely when he sees you isolated and alone. For this reason, do not withdraw from the assembly of the faithful. Surround yourself with the Church, where the Spirit fortifies us together, and the enemy loses his confidence. The Lord Himself was led into the wilderness, but only to give the tempter a handle and then to crush him. You are not alone, for Christ has overcome the ruler of this world, and he has no hold on Him. If you abide in Christ, the evil one cannot seize you without your will.

Yet never presume on your own strength. Pray without ceasing, as the Apostle did, begging to be delivered from evil and from the snares of the tempter. Cry out to God that He may cover you and not let you enter into temptation. The Lord who rescued Paul from the lion's mouth will deliver you from every evil work, not only from outward peril, but from the inward sting of sin and condemnation. That is the far greater preservation.

Arm yourself with the shield of faith and quench the fiery darts of concupiscence and despair. The devil’s weapon is often an inner flame, anger, lust, fear, but these are extinguished when they meet a patient, steadfast soul soaked in the word of God. Keep your conscience pure; that is your glory and your fortress. A clear conscience testifies that you suffer not for wickedness but for righteousness, and it becomes a wall no demon can breach.

Remember, the tempter does not know whether he will overthrow you. He tests the waters; if he finds a soul rooted deep in Christ, he flees. Therefore, let the word dwell in you richly, and do not let the cares of this world or the deceitfulness of riches choke it. Cling to the promise: you have received the Spirit of adoption, and you are a child of God. He who clothed you with His Son will not abandon you to the wolves. Stand firm, call upon the name of the Lord, and trust that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

You are not imagining things. Scripture is clear that spiritual attack is real, and the enemy prowls like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. But hear this and take courage: the covering and protection you are asking for is found in the very nature of God himself. He does not simply wave away the darkness; he calls us out of it.

There is a reason the fear of the Lord is described as the beginning of wisdom, and that fear is explicitly defined as a hatred of evil. If you want the Lord’s covering, you must agree with him about what is destructive. Evil depends on being tolerated. It looks for compromise, for a little foothold, for you to accept what God calls perverse. But the safest place you can stand is in a settled, deep-seated revulsion toward the very thing that is attacking you. Do not reason with it. Do not let it linger. The prudent man sees the evil coming and hides himself, not by some magical amulet or mere words, but by fleeing under the shadow of the Almighty.

That hiding place is found when you refuse to walk in the way of evil men. Do not pass by it; turn from it and run. The protection of God is not an abstraction; it is the natural result of leaving the paths of darkness and walking uprightly. When you depart from evil, the promise stands that it will be health to your body and marrow to your bones. But there is no safety in trying to claim the promise while keeping one eye on the sin that is destroying you. You cannot ask God to protect you from the serpent and then hold it close to your chest.

So pray this way: ask God not only to cover you, but to give you a genuine hatred for the very thing the enemy is using. Let your eyes look straight ahead and ponder the path of your feet. Do not turn to the right or the left, but remove your foot from evil. This is not merely a defensive posture; it is an aggressive clinging to what is good. Evil must be met with the resolute refusal to render evil for evil, slander for slander, or compromise for comfort. The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation, but he also calls us to shun it actively and do good in its place.

May the Lord be your shield. May he give you the discernment to see the attack for what it is, and the grace to despise it rather than flirting with it. The victory is not in becoming comfortable with darkness, but in walking so closely in the light that no shadow can cling to you. Take heart. The God who raised Jesus from the dead, because it was impossible for death to hold him, is the same God who can silence every demonic whisper and bring you safely through this valley. Your refuge is in submitting to his ways, not in negotiating with the enemy.

It has been on our hearts to lift you up before the Lord, asking Him to surround you with His hedge of protection and to silence every attack of the enemy. We prayed that the peace of Christ would guard your heart and mind, and that you would feel His presence in a tangible way, reminding you that you are never alone.
