Now the call is to remain there, not growing weary or allowing the assault to provoke him to compromise or to take matters back into his own flesh. The work of the flesh cannot accomplish God's purposes anyway. God only recognizes the works that flow from a life surrendered to Him, just as He recognized Isaac, not Ishmael.

Whoever has the Son has that life, and nothing can snatch it away. Your son's life and business have been placed into the Son's hands. Because of that, the true work God has begun in him will be carried on to completion. The attacks are being permitted for a purpose. In God's design, He uses such testings to shape us, to conform us into the image of Christ, and to prepare us for the very work He has already planned for us to do. No trial is capricious; it is all part of the process of refining what is genuine.

The One who gave His own Son for us will not fail to guard what has been entrusted to Him. The work God has in mind for your son is not in jeopardy because the enemy is angry. God is far more committed to completing that work than we can imagine. He loves him too much to let him go or to abandon the purpose for which he was called. Pray for courage, for a steadfast mind, and for the Spirit's strength to resist evil and to see the deliverance that comes from the Lord.
