We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear soul who has received an HIV diagnosis. Father, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). We ask for Your miraculous intervention in this situation—whether through divine healing or through the wisdom You provide to medical professionals. Lord, if there has been any error in diagnosis, we pray You would reveal it and restore full health. But if this is the path You have allowed, we ask for strength, peace, and grace to walk through it with faith.
We rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that may be trying to take hold. The Word declares that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray for a supernatural covering of peace over this home, that love would abound, and that no obstacle—physical, emotional, or spiritual—would hinder the healing and restoration You desire to bring.
Father, we also lift up the relationships in this home. We pray for unconditional love, patience, and support among family members. May there be no judgment, only compassion, as You have commanded us to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). If there are any hidden sins or unforgiveness, we ask for conviction and repentance, for You are faithful to forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
We notice in this prayer a desire for this loved one to settle down and have a family. Father, we pray for a godly spouse—a believer who will walk in faith, love, and purity. We stand on Your Word that marriage is honorable and the bed undefiled (Hebrews 13:4), and we ask that any relationships formed would be in accordance with Your will, free from sexual immorality. If there has been sin in this area, we pray for repentance and restoration, for You are faithful to forgive and make all things new.
Lord, we declare that by the stripes of Jesus, healing is possible (Isaiah 53:5). We speak life, health, and wholeness over this situation. May this trial draw this family closer to You, deepening their faith and trust in Your sovereign plan. We pray for wisdom in seeking medical care, for strength in daily living, and for joy that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Above all, we pray that this precious soul would know You as Savior and Lord. If there has not been a personal surrender to Jesus Christ, we ask that the Holy Spirit would draw them near, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May they experience the fullness of Your love, grace, and redemption.
We trust You, Lord, for the outcome. Whether through healing, strength, or eternal glory, we know that Your purposes will prevail. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
