We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear stroke survivor in prayer. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals and restores. We ask that You would touch this precious life with Your healing hand, bringing strength to weakened limbs, clarity to the mind, and peace to the heart. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord.* We stand on this promise, believing that You are working even now to bring restoration.
Lord, we also pray for endurance and patience for this survivor and their loved ones. Recovery can be a long and difficult journey, but we know that You are faithful. Philippians 4:13 reminds us, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* We ask that You would fill them with Your strength, hope, and perseverance each day.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, discouragement, or despair that may try to take hold. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that this survivor is surrounded by Your love, protected by Your grace, and upheld by Your mighty hand.
Father, we also lift up the caregivers and family members who are walking alongside this survivor. Give them wisdom, patience, and compassion as they serve. Sustain them with Your peace and provide for their every need.
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the One through whom we have access to You. There is no other name by which we can be saved or healed (Acts 4:12). We trust in You alone, Lord, and we thank You for Your faithfulness. Amen.
