We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your husband in prayer. The pain of gout can be debilitating, and the weight of being unable to work only adds to the burden. We stand with you in faith, believing that our Heavenly Father sees his suffering and hears your cries. The Word reminds us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."
We pray for divine healing to flow over your husband’s body, reducing the inflammation and pain caused by gout. May the Lord touch his joints and restore them to full strength and mobility. We declare Isaiah 53:5 over him: "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed." We trust in the power of Jesus’ sacrifice to bring wholeness and restoration.
We also lift up your family’s financial needs. The strain of being out of work can feel overwhelming, but we serve a God who provides. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We pray for open doors of opportunity, favor in the workplace, and the strength for your husband to return to his labor with renewed vigor. May the Lord guide him to the right job or source of income, and may He grant wisdom in managing your resources during this season.
Father, we ask that You surround this family with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. Guard their hearts against fear, anxiety, or despair, and fill them with hope in Your promises. Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, and let them experience Your faithfulness in tangible ways. We also pray for patience and endurance, knowing that trials refine our trust in You.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of infirmity and lack in the name of Jesus. We declare that this season of hardship will not define them but will instead draw them closer to You. May they emerge from this trial with testimonies of Your goodness and grace. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for moving on their behalf. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
