We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you and your family up in prayer. First and foremost, we must acknowledge that our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we pray and seek deliverance. If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Heavenly Father, we cry out to You on behalf of this dear sister and her family. Lord, You see the distress she is in—the harassment, the threats, and the fear of shame before her family, office, and society. We ask that You would be her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Deliver her from the hands of those who seek to oppress her, for You are a God who hears the cries of the afflicted (Psalm 10:17-18). Shield her and her family from embarrassment and insult, and let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we also lift up her husband’s situation. You know the details of his medical certificate and the financial strain this has placed on their family. We ask that You would open the doors for his retirement benefits to be released swiftly and in full. Provide for them in ways that only You can, Lord, so that their debts may be cleared, and they may have enough not only to meet their needs but also to save for the future. You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides (Genesis 22:14), and we trust in Your provision.
Lord, we pray for restoration and honor in her life. Cleanse her reputation in the eyes of her office, family, and society. Let her be known for integrity, wisdom, and godliness, so that she may gain respect and favor wherever she goes. May her life reflect the light of Christ, and may others see Your goodness through her (Matthew 5:16). Help her to walk in humility and wisdom, proving herself not by her own strength but by Your grace and power at work within her.
We must also address the weight of this financial burden with truth and wisdom. Scripture warns us about the dangers of debt and the importance of stewardship. The Bible says, "The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender" (Proverbs 22:7). We encourage you to seek godly counsel in managing your finances moving forward, so that you may live within your means and avoid the snares of debt. If there are any unwise financial decisions that contributed to this situation, we urge you to repent and seek the Lord’s guidance in making changes. Trust in Him to lead you into financial freedom, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and oppression that seeks to torment this family. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We speak peace over their home, their finances, and their reputations. Let Your angels encamp around them, protecting them from harm (Psalm 34:7). Give them wisdom in how to handle this situation—whether through legal means, negotiation, or divine intervention. May they walk in faith, not fear, knowing that You are their defender.
Father, we also pray for the hearts of those who are harassing them. Soften their hearts, Lord, and let them see the humanity and dignity of this family. If there is any injustice in their actions, expose it and bring it to light. May Your justice prevail, and may Your mercy be extended to all involved.
We close this prayer by declaring that this family is not forgotten by You, Lord. You know their needs before they even ask, and You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May they experience Your deliverance in ways that bring glory to Your name.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
