We hear your heartfelt plea for this sister in Christ who is waiting for employment. It is good that you have come before the Lord in prayer, calling upon the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As Scripture tells us, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). We join with you in lifting her up, trusting that God hears the cries of His children.
Father in Heaven, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your provision for this dear sister. You are the God who sees, the God who provides, and the God who opens doors that no man can shut. We ask that You would move mightily on her behalf, opening the right opportunity for her at the right time. Lord, we know that You care deeply about every detail of our lives, and we trust that You have a perfect plan for her. "For I know the plans I have for you," says Yahweh, "plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11).
We pray that You would give her peace as she waits, Lord. May she not grow weary or lose heart, but may she find her strength in You. Remind her that You are her Provider, and that You will never leave her nor forsake her. "But my God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). We ask that You would surround her with Your presence, filling her with hope and assurance as she seeks Your will.
Father, we also ask that You would prepare her for the work You have for her. Give her wisdom, skill, and favor in the eyes of those who may hire her. Let her light shine before others, so that they may see her good works and glorify You (Matthew 5:16). If there are any areas in her life where she needs to grow or change, we ask that You would reveal them to her and help her to walk in obedience to Your Word.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may be trying to take hold of her. We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37), and that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that she would stand firm in her faith, knowing that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28).
Lord, we also lift up those who are in positions to offer her employment. Give them discernment and wisdom as they make decisions. Soften their hearts to see the value and potential You have placed in her. Let Your favor rest upon her, and may she walk into the job You have prepared for her with confidence and joy.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. May this sister find her hope and security in You alone, knowing that You are her strength and her shield. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
