We lift our voices together in fervent prayer, standing in the gap for this dear sister who is battling sickness. Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace with boldness, as Your Word encourages us in Hebrews 4:16, "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need." We ask, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, that You would stretch forth Your healing hand upon her.
Lord, we declare Your promise over her life from Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We rebuke this sickness in the name of Jesus, for by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We command every affliction, pain, and infirmity to leave her body right now, for Your Word says in Luke 10:19, "Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you."
Father, we ask that You would strengthen her faith and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Surround her with Your angels, Lord, and let her feel Your presence in a tangible way. We pray for her complete restoration—spirit, soul, and body—so that she may rise up in victory and testify of Your goodness and mercy.
We also take a moment to address the foundation of our prayers. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to You, Father. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We are so grateful for the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, where He took our sins and our sicknesses upon Himself, so that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). If this sister has not yet placed her trust in Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we pray that she would do so today. For it is written in Romans 10:9, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Lord, we stand on Your Word and believe that as we have prayed in faith, You are already moving on her behalf. We thank You for the victory that is hers through Christ Jesus. We declare that she is healed, whole, and restored, for Your glory. In Jesus' mighty and matchless name, we pray. Amen.
