We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear sister who is struggling with chest and breathing difficulties. Father God, we ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand upon her. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5). Lord, we rebuke every infection, inflammation, and spirit of infirmity in her body in the mighty name of Jesus. Your Word says that You send forth Your word and heal them (Psalm 107:20), so we speak healing and restoration over her lungs, her airways, and every part of her respiratory system.
We pray that You would strengthen her body, Lord, and give her the breath of life that only You can provide. Comfort her in this time of weakness, and let her feel Your presence surrounding her like a warm embrace. We trust in Your promise that when we call upon You in the day of trouble, You will deliver us, and we will glorify You (Psalm 50:15).
Father, we also ask that You would guide the hands of her doctors and caregivers. Give them wisdom and discernment as they treat her, and let every decision they make be aligned with Your perfect will. We thank You for the gift of modern medicine, but we know that true healing comes from You alone.
Lord, if there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in her heart, we ask that You would reveal it to her so that she may repent and receive Your full restoration. Your Word tells us that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We pray that she would walk in the freedom and wholeness that comes from a right relationship with You.
We also want to gently remind this sister that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If she has not yet surrendered her life to Jesus, we pray that she would do so today. Jesus died on the cross for her sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day so that she could have eternal life. All she needs to do is believe in her heart and confess with her mouth that Jesus is Lord (Romans 10:9-10).
We declare that this sister is healed, whole, and restored in Jesus' name. We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already hers through Christ. Amen.
