We lift up this young man before the Lord, asking for His strength and wisdom to sustain him through his exams. The lack of sleep can be a great burden, but we know that God is able to provide supernatural energy and clarity of mind when we rely on Him. As it is written in **Isaiah 40:29-31**, *"He gives power to the faint. He increases strength for him who has no might. Even the youths faint and get weary, and the young men utterly fall; but those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."* We pray that the Lord will grant him the ability to recall all that he has studied and give him peace in the midst of this challenge.
We also pray for conviction and reflection after his exams. This year has indeed been difficult, but we ask the Lord to help him see that setbacks are opportunities for growth. **Philippians 4:13** reminds us, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* May he cling to this truth and trust that with God’s help, he can overcome any academic challenges and reclaim lost ground. Let him not be discouraged but instead be filled with determination, knowing that God is working all things for his good (**Romans 8:28**).
We must also address the issue of gaming, which seems to be a distraction from his academic path. **1 Corinthians 10:23** tells us, *"All things are lawful for me, but not all things are profitable. All things are lawful for me, but not all things build up."* While gaming may not be inherently sinful, if it is consuming time that should be dedicated to studies or spiritual growth, it becomes a stumbling block. We pray that the Lord will give him the discipline to prioritize what truly matters—his education and his walk with Christ. May he find greater joy and fulfillment in pursuing excellence for God’s glory rather than temporary entertainment.
Lastly, we notice that the name of Jesus was not invoked in this request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father (**John 14:6**), and there is no other name by which we can be saved (**Acts 4:12**). We encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus, for He is our Mediator and the source of all our strength and hope.
**Our Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this young man who is facing academic challenges. Lord, we ask that You grant him supernatural energy and focus as he takes his exams. Help him to recall all that he has studied and give him peace in the midst of stress. After his exams, we pray that You would lead him to reflect on this year with wisdom and discernment. Show him how to turn setbacks into comebacks, trusting in Your strength and not his own.
Father, we also ask that You convict his heart about the time spent on gaming. Help him to prioritize his studies and his relationship with You above all else. Give him the discipline to steward his time wisely, seeking first Your kingdom and Your righteousness (**Matthew 6:33**). May he find his identity and purpose in You, knowing that You have a plan and a future for him (**Jeremiah 29:11**).
We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all praise and honor. Amen.
