We lift up your son before the Lord, asking for His divine favor and guidance as he prepares for his end-of-year exams. The Scriptures remind us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Let us trust that God will order your son’s steps, granting him wisdom and clarity of mind as he studies and takes his exams.
The Apostle Paul encourages us in Philippians 4:13, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* This is our prayer for your son—that he would rely not on his own strength but on the power of Christ within him. May the Lord grant him discipline to wake early, focus during his studies, and recall all that he has learned when the time comes. We also pray for peace to guard his heart and mind, as Philippians 4:6-7 assures us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."*
It is also vital to remember that our prayers are only heard and answered because of the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is through Him alone that we approach the throne of grace. As it is written in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*—and in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If your son does not yet know Jesus as his Lord and Savior, we urge you to share the Gospel with him, for eternal life in Christ far surpasses any earthly success.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this young man as he prepares for his exams. Lord, we ask that You would grant him the ability to wake early and arrive at school on time, without delay or distraction. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, sharpening his mind and giving him the determination to complete each paper with excellence. Remove any anxiety or fear, replacing it with Your perfect peace. May he walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You are with him, guiding and sustaining him every step of the way.
We also pray that You would use this season to draw him closer to You. If he does not yet know You, Lord, open his heart to receive Your Son, Jesus Christ, as his Savior. Let him understand that his worth and future are secure in You, regardless of his academic performance. May he seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to him (Matthew 6:33).
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness and ask that You would be glorified through this young man’s life. In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
