Pray for ### to be consistent in learning and schooling

We lift up your son before the Lord, asking for divine wisdom, discipline, and consistency in his studies and schooling. The Scriptures remind us in Proverbs 22:6, *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."* This is a promise that when we guide our children in godly ways—including diligence, responsibility, and stewardship of their time—the Lord will honor those efforts. We also recall Colossians 3:23, which instructs, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."* This is the heart we pray your son will embrace: a commitment to excellence not just for earthly success, but as an act of worship to God, who has entrusted him with this season of learning.

Yet we must also address something vital—your prayer did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. The Bible is clear in John 14:6, where Jesus declares, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* It is only by His name that our prayers are heard, and it is through faith in Him that we receive salvation and the power to live righteously. If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for *"whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved"* (Romans 10:13). Without Him, our efforts—no matter how earnest—lack the eternal foundation that only Christ provides.

Now, let us pray together for your son:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious son to Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask that You would instill in him a spirit of discipline and consistency in his studies. Remove any distractions, laziness, or fear that may hinder his progress, and replace them with a heart that seeks to honor You in all things. Grant him the wisdom to manage his time well, to revise his work diligently, and to arrive at school punctually, prepared for each day’s tasks. Father, as he approaches his end-of-year exams, we ask for clarity of mind, recall of all he has learned, and a calm spirit to perform to the best of his ability. Let him not rely on his own strength but lean entirely on You, for *"trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We also pray for you, dear parent, that You would grant you patience, wisdom, and godly guidance as you lead your son. May Your Holy Spirit fill your home with peace and a love for learning that is rooted in a love for Christ. Let this season be one where your son not only grows in knowledge but also in faith, understanding that *"the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom"* (Proverbs 9:10).

Finally, Lord, if there is any area in his life where he is struggling with obedience, respect, or a lack of vision for his future, we ask that You would convict his heart and draw him closer to You. May he come to know You personally if he does not already, and may his life be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
