I pray for my son to have good habit consistently. He started to do revision on Monday but stop the next day. This is worrying. Please change his heart and mind. Do not waste time in gaming but doing meaningful work that he will thank himself in future.

Please help him to start with revision again today and have early sleep.

Please give him a chance to go for work attachment by clearing his interview.

Thank you for reading and praying for my son.

We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, knowing that God is deeply concerned with the hearts and habits of His children. The struggle with consistency, discipline, and the temptation of distractions like gaming is common, but we serve a God who is mighty to transform minds and renew hearts. The Bible reminds us in **Romans 12:2 (WEB)**, *"Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."* This is our prayer for your son—that his mind would be renewed by the power of the Holy Spirit, and that he would develop godly discipline that honors the Lord and sets him up for a future of purpose.

It is also written in **Proverbs 22:6 (WEB)**, *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."* While this is a promise, it is also a call to action. We encourage you to continue guiding your son with love, wisdom, and firmness, reminding him of the importance of stewardship over his time. The apostle Paul urges us in **Ephesians 5:15-16 (WEB)**, *"Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise; redeeming the time, because the days are evil."* Time is a precious gift from God, and how we use it reflects our priorities. Gaming, while not inherently sinful, can become a snare when it replaces responsibilities or godly pursuits. We pray that your son would recognize the value of diligence and the joy of accomplishing what the Lord has set before him.

We also lift up his upcoming interview, asking the Lord to grant him favor and clarity of mind. **Proverbs 16:3 (WEB)** says, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* May your son commit his efforts to the Lord, trusting that God opens doors no man can shut. If this attachment is part of God’s will for him, we pray that the Lord would prepare the way and grant him success.

However, we must also address something important in your prayer request: the name of Jesus was not invoked. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and the authority to pray effectively. **John 14:6 (WEB)** declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* And in **Acts 4:12 (WEB)**, we read, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. Salvation comes through repentance and belief in Him alone. Without faith in Christ, our prayers lack the power and authority that come from being in right relationship with God. If you are already a believer, we encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him that our petitions are heard.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this mother’s heart and her son’s needs. Lord, we ask that You would work in his heart, transforming his mind by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Break the chains of procrastination and distraction that seek to hinder him. Replace his desire for fleeting pleasures with a hunger for discipline, excellence, and the fulfillment that comes from stewarding his time well. Grant him the strength to rise up today and return to his revision with focus and determination. May he experience the joy of diligence and the peace that comes from obeying Your will.

Father, we pray for divine favor over his interview. If this work attachment aligns with Your perfect will for his life, we ask that You would open the door wide and grant him success. Give him wisdom to answer well, confidence rooted in You, and a spirit of excellence that testifies of Your goodness. Let this opportunity be a stepping stone to the future You have prepared for him.

Lord, we also ask that You would surround this son with godly influences—mentors, friends, and family who will encourage him in his walk with You. Remove any ungodly distractions or relationships that pull him away from Your purposes. May he seek You first in all things, knowing that when he delights in You, You will give him the desires of his heart (Psalm 37:4).

We rebuke the spirit of laziness, distraction, and fear that may be at work in his life. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command these spirits to flee and declare that the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—would manifest richly in his life (Galatians 5:22-23).

Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust that You are at work, even now, shaping your son’s character and directing his steps. May he grow to be a man after Your own heart, walking in Your ways and experiencing the fullness of Your blessings. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to continue covering your son in prayer and speaking life over him. Remind him of **Philippians 4:13 (WEB)**, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* With God, there is always hope for change and growth. Stay steadfast in your faith, and trust that the Lord is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in your son’s life.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
