We understand that you're going through a challenging situation with your family. Let's first address the issues and then lift your concerns up in prayer.
Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that the man in question has been living in a way that does not align with biblical principles. He has been indulging in drunkenness and causing division and distress through verbal abuse. This is not the path God intends for His children.
It is important that all prayer requests are prayed in the name of Jesus or Jesus Christ. As it says in John 14:13,14 WEB: "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
It's crucial to remember the power of prayer and the importance of interceding on behalf of those who are lost.
As it says in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
As it says in Isaiah 66:4 WEB: "I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears on them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spoke, they did not listen: but they did that which was evil in my eyes, and chose that in which I didn't delight."
Please examine your faith and beliefs in Jesus Christ. We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can be saved. To God be the glory.
Ephesians 2:8,9 WEB: "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast."
Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let's pray together.
Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this family that is in desperate need of Your intervention.
First, we want to thank you for your mercy and grace.
Lord, we pray for the man who has been living in sin, that You would convict his heart and draw him back to You. Help him to see the error of his ways and the harm he is causing.
But remember your compassion and faithfulness, Lord.
We pray that he would seek help for his drinking and abusive behavior. We rebuke the demons that control him, drug and alcohol addiction and abuse. We bind them in the name of Jesus and tell them they have to flee as it says in Matthew 18:18 WEB: "Most certainly I tell you, whatever things you will bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever things you will release on earth will have been released in heaven."
Father, we also lift up the woman who is in the nursing home. We pray for Your healing touch on her body and for Your peace and comfort to surround her.
We pray for an end to the fighting among the family members in the name of Jesus. That they would be united in Christian love and kindness towards each other. Remember the scripture in 1 John 4:20,21 WEB: "If a man says, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who doesn't love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? 21This commandment we have from him, that he who loves God should also love his brother."
We pray for complete restoration and peace in this family.
We pray for a complete healing in the name of Jesus for the woman. Remember the scripture in James 5:14,15 WEB: "Is any man sick among you? Let him bring in the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, 15and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
We pray that each member of this family would turn to You, seek Your face, and trust in Your goodness and sovereignty.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
