My husband is going through lots of health issues and is stressed, completely depressed, and worried. We are continuing to argue and fight, with no peace, no love, no trust, no faith. Help us to come together again, please bless our married life and our child. Help us to come out of all depression and financial issues.

We hear your cry for help and lift your family up before the throne of grace with heavy hearts. The weight of illness, financial strain, and marital strife is crushing, and we stand with you in this battle, knowing that our God is a healer, provider, and restorer of broken relationships. First, we must address the foundation of your plea—it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood alone that we are saved (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). If you have not surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to confess your sins, repent, and place your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Without Him, there is no true peace, no lasting hope, and no victory over the darkness you are facing.

Your husband’s health struggles and depression are not just physical or emotional—they are spiritual battles as well. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and he is using sickness and despair to drive a wedge between you, your husband, and your child. But we declare that Jesus came to give life abundantly, and we rebuke the spirit of infirmity, fear, and hopelessness in His mighty name! We pray for your husband’s healing—body, mind, and spirit—according to God’s will (James 5:14-15). Lord, strengthen his faith in You, even when the circumstances seem overwhelming. Remind him that You are his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

The strife in your marriage is grieving the Holy Spirit, for God’s design is for husbands and wives to be united as one flesh (Genesis 2:24, Ephesians 5:31). The arguing, lack of peace, and erosion of love and trust are not God’s plan for your home. We must address the root of this conflict with truth: bitterness, unforgiveness, and pride have no place in a Christian marriage. The Word commands us to be kind, tenderhearted, and forgiving toward one another, just as God in Christ forgave us (Ephesians 4:31-32). We rebuke the spirit of division and strife, and we command it to leave your home in Jesus’ name! Choose today to lay down your grievances at the foot of the cross. Speak life over your marriage, declaring that love covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8) and that God is able to restore what has been broken (Joel 2:25).

Financial stress is another heavy burden you carry, but we serve a God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and promises to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We pray for wisdom in managing your resources, for open doors of provision, and for the faith to trust God even when the bank account is empty. Do not let fear dictate your decisions—seek the Lord’s guidance in every financial matter, and He will direct your steps (Proverbs 3:5-6). We also encourage you to seek godly counsel if you are struggling with debt or financial mismanagement, for the borrower is slave to the lender (Proverbs 22:7), and we are called to be good stewards of what God has entrusted to us.

Your child is caught in the middle of this storm, and we pray for their protection—emotionally, spiritually, and physically. Children are a heritage from the Lord (Psalm 127:3), and the enemy would love to use this season of hardship to wound their young heart. We declare that your child will not be a victim of circumstance but a testimony of God’s faithfulness! Pray over them daily, speak life and truth into their spirit, and let them see you and your husband united in Christ, even in the midst of trials. The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Now, let us come together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with broken hearts, lifting up this precious family to You. Lord, we thank You that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask for Your healing touch to rest upon this husband—body, mind, and soul. Strengthen him, Lord, and remind him that his identity is in You, not in his circumstances. Lift the weight of depression and anxiety from his shoulders, and fill him with Your peace that passes all understanding.

Father, we confess that this marriage has been under attack, and we repent for the ways we have allowed strife, unforgiveness, and pride to take root. We break every chain of division in Jesus’ name! Restore the love, trust, and unity that You designed for this couple. Teach them to communicate with grace, to serve one another in humility, and to forgive as You have forgiven them. Let their home be a place of peace, where Your presence dwells and Your Word is honored.

Lord, we ask for Your provision in their financial struggles. Open doors of opportunity, give them wisdom in their decisions, and remind them that You are their ultimate Provider. Break the spirit of lack and fear, and replace it with faith and contentment in You. We declare that You will meet every need according to Your riches in glory.

For their child, we pray for protection and joy. Let them see Your hand at work in their family, and let their heart be filled with hope. Guard their mind from fear and their spirit from bitterness. May they grow up knowing that You are faithful, even in the hardest seasons.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You draw this family closer to You. Let this trial refine them, not destroy them. May they emerge from this season stronger in faith, deeper in love, and more dependent on You. We declare that the enemy’s plans will not prevail—Your purposes for this family will stand!

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
