My husband is going through lots of health issues and is stressed, completely depressed, and worried. We are continuing to argue and fight, with no peace, no love, no trust, no faith. Help us to come together again, please bless our married life and our child. Help us to come out of all depression and financial issues.

We hear your cry for help and lift your family up before the throne of grace, where mercy and peace are found in abundance. The weight of illness, financial strain, and relational strife is heavy, but we know that our God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Your marriage is under attack, not just by circumstances, but by the enemy who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Yet Jesus came that you may have life—and have it abundantly. We stand in the gap for you, declaring that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

First, we must address the root of the conflict in your marriage. The arguing, lack of trust, and absence of love are not merely symptoms of stress—they are openings for the enemy to divide what God has joined together (Mark 10:9). In Ephesians 4:26-27, we are warned, *"Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil."* Unresolved anger and bitterness give the devil a foothold, and he will use it to drive a wedge between you. We rebuke the spirit of division and strife in your home in the name of Jesus. We command it to leave and never return. Instead, we pray that the love of Christ would compel you both to forgive one another, just as God in Christ forgave you (Ephesians 4:32).

Your husband’s health is a great concern, and we pray for his complete restoration. By the stripes of Jesus, he was healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that healing over him now. We ask the Lord to strengthen his body, calm his mind, and lift the cloud of depression that hangs over him. The psalmist cried out, *"Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God!"* (Psalm 42:5). We declare that hope in God will rise in his heart, and the joy of the Lord will be his strength (Nehemiah 8:10). We also pray for wisdom for his doctors and for the right treatments to bring relief and healing.

Financial stress is another heavy burden, but we serve a God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and who promises to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We rebuke the spirit of lack and poverty in the name of Jesus. We pray that doors of provision would open for you, that debts would be lifted, and that you would experience the faithfulness of God as your Provider. Trust in Him, for He has said, *"I will never leave you nor forsake you"* (Hebrews 13:5). Let this truth anchor your hearts, even when the waves of uncertainty crash around you.

For your marriage to be restored, you must both commit to fighting *for* it, not *against* each other. Colossians 3:12-14 urges us, *"Put on therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do. Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection."* Love is not just a feeling—it is a choice. Choose to speak kindly to one another, to serve one another, and to prioritize your marriage above the chaos around you. Seek counseling if needed, but do so with a godly counselor who will point you back to Scripture and to Jesus.

Your child is also feeling the tension in your home, and we pray for their protection and peace. Children are a heritage from the Lord (Psalm 127:3), and we ask that He would shield their heart from fear and anxiety. We pray that they would see Christ’s love reflected in you both, even in the midst of trials. Proverbs 22:6 reminds us to *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."* Even in difficult seasons, you can model trust in God and love for one another.

We must also address the importance of your faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). It is only through Jesus that you have access to the Father and the power to overcome every trial.

Now, we pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts for this family. We ask that You would move mightily in their midst, breaking every chain of sickness, depression, financial lack, and marital strife. Lord, we declare that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, would flood their home. Heal this husband’s body, mind, and spirit, and restore the joy of his salvation. Provide for their every need according to Your riches in glory. Soften their hearts toward one another, Lord, and help them to forgive as You have forgiven them. Let Your love be the foundation of their marriage, and let Your presence be their comfort.

We rebuke every spirit of division, fear, and despair in the name of Jesus. We command them to leave this home and never return. Fill this family with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in love, patience, and kindness toward one another. Protect their child, Lord, and let them see Your faithfulness even in this storm.

We thank You for Your promises, Lord, and we trust that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen their faith, and let them cling to You as their Rock and Redeemer. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Do not lose heart, dear ones. The night may be dark, but joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is able to do immeasurably more than all you ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). Lean on Him, and let His love restore what has been broken.

We're here with you, dear friend, lifting your family up to our Heavenly Father. We know the weight you're carrying is heavy, but remember, He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Your marriage is precious to Him, and He wants to see it restored.

First, let's ask for healing for your husband. We claim healing over him in Jesus' name, for by His stripes, we are healed. We pray for strength in his body, peace in his mind, and joy in his heart. We ask the Lord to lift the cloud of depression and fill him with hope and trust in God.

Next, we pray for provision. Our God owns the cattle on a thousand hills, and He promises to supply all our needs. We rebuke the spirit of lack and poverty, and we trust that God will open doors of provision for you. Even in uncertainty, we can trust in Him, for He has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."

For your marriage to be restored, you both must commit to fighting for it, not against each other. Choose to speak kindly, serve one another, and prioritize your marriage. Seek counseling if needed, but ensure it's with a godly counselor who will point you back to Scripture and Jesus.

We also pray for your child, that they would be protected and find peace in the midst of trials. They are a heritage from the Lord, and we ask that He would shield their heart from fear and anxiety.

Lastly, we pray for your faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. If you haven't placed your trust in Jesus, we urge you to do so today.

Now, let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts for this family. Lord, we declare that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, would flood their home. Heal this husband's body, mind, and spirit, and restore the joy of his salvation.
