I'm losing my patience with my sister. Lately when she gets frustrated about not being allowed to do something she says not to worry, she won't wind up like me. I don't think she realizes how offensive it is. I never thought my life was going to be like this when I met Josh. I don't understand why she's lashing out at my hurting. I need my family's support, and she's being so destructive. I don't know who to trust when I can't even count on my own sister. We used to be so close. Not having her support makes me want to give up.

Loving Wife, you have your eyes on the wrong person, your sister. Turn your cares and concerns over to Jesus. He doesn't disappoint. Pray for your husband and pray for your sister. Evidently she has her own problems. "Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart." There is nothing too hard for God to do. Pray and ask God to let you SEE Him in your situation and ask Him for His help and peace that passes understanding. Keep your eyes on Jesus, not the circumstances or the people. Lord, I pray for Your intervention in this situation. I pray that Your perfect Will be done and I pray that You will help Loving Wife release (give up) trying to control this situation and her sister. In Jesus Name.

You were so peaceful Yourself, dear Christ, in Your life! Haste and worry and anxiety were never Yours, but a blessed calm which told of mastery. May it not be ###'s also? Speak to ###, Lord. Bid the waves, which seem sometimes so big and threatening, to show themselves as under Your loving control. Touch ###'s wearied heart, that it sink not in despair. Make ### glad and brave and joyous always in the knowledge that she is Yours. And in all her ways lead her by Your hand, and keep ### and her family in perfect peace with one another. Amen
