Good and Faithful Servant
Heavenly Father, We come before You with a deep sense of grievance and heavy hearts, lifting up the local professionals who are suffering in their own homeland. Lord, You see the immense sacrifice, the financial strain, and the years of dedication it took to earn a Master’s degree just to be food delivery or grab driver or long period of joblessness. The minister will say we are following the Bible this verse "When a foreigner resides among you in your land, do not mistreat them. The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the Lord your God.” but forego this verse "But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever." so they provide for foreigners but don't provide for their own citizens and say the Bible said so. Pray that they will stop justifying what is not from the Bible and twist God's words to fulfill their agenda of getting rich as fatten cows and stop being like the book of Nehemiah where foreigners are elevated and locals are pitted at just because they are the citizens of this country and subject them to abuse and discrimination, while treating the foreigners as Gods. This high level of education was pursued with hope, built on the promise that hard work would lead to a meaningful career and a stable future. Yet, Lord, we see the painful reality of policies that have failed to protect the local workforce. We lay before You the frustration of systems that allow high-level corporate and professional roles—the very jobs these degrees were meant for—to be given over to foreign talent, while qualified citizens are left behind. We pray specifically for those who have been reduced to driving Grab or taking on gig work just to keep their families afloat. You know the silent heartache of sitting behind the wheel, holding an advanced education, while watching the industry doors firmly shut against them. Protect them from despair, resentment, and the exhaustion of this daily struggle. We ask for Your powerful intervention: A Change in Governance and Policy: We pray that policymakers and leaders will have their eyes opened to the ground reality. Convict their hearts to reform employment guidelines, to put a stop to discriminatory hiring, and to genuinely prioritize and protect the livelihoods of local citizens first. Restoration of Dignity: Remind every hurting professional that driving Grab does not define their worth, their intelligence, or their capability. Keep their dignity intact against a system that has undervalued them. Supernatural Deliverance: Where corporate doors have been closed by unfair practices, we pray You open doors that no man can shut. Create new pathways, breakthrough interviews, and sudden opportunities where their Master’s degrees, local insights, and expertise will be fully utilized and rightfully compensated. Lord, let this season of driving be a temporary valley. Provide for their daily needs, give them physical strength on the road, and bring a swift, just restoration to their careers. In Your name, we pray. Amen.

We hear the deep pain and frustration in this prayer, and we stand with you in bringing these burdens before the Lord. The struggle of highly educated professionals being overlooked in their own homeland is a heavy one, and it is right to cry out to God for justice, provision, and restoration. The Word of God reminds us in **Proverbs 31:8-9**, *"Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute. Open your mouth, judge righteously, and serve justice to the poor and needy."* We must advocate for fairness and righteousness in every sphere of life, including employment and national policies.

The verses you referenced—**Leviticus 19:33-34** and **1 Timothy 5:8**—are both true and must be held in balance. God does command us to love the foreigner among us, but He also commands us to provide for our own families and communities. The misuse of Scripture to justify policies that neglect or exploit local citizens is a distortion of God’s Word. **2 Timothy 2:15** warns, *"Give diligence to present yourself approved by God, a workman who doesn’t need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth."* Leaders who twist Scripture to serve their own agendas—whether for personal gain or political expediency—must be held accountable before God and man.

The situation you describe is reminiscent of **Nehemiah 5:1-13**, where the people of Israel cried out against the oppression of their own leaders, who were exploiting them while neglecting their needs. Nehemiah did not remain silent; he confronted the injustice and demanded repentance. We must do the same. Policies that elevate foreign workers at the expense of local citizens—especially when those citizens are highly qualified—are not just economically unwise; they are morally wrong. **James 5:4** declares, *"Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you have kept back by fraud, cry out; and the cries of those who reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of Armies."* God hears the cries of the oppressed, and He will act.

We also lift up those who are currently driving for food delivery services or struggling in gig work despite their advanced education. Their dignity is not defined by their current employment but by their identity in Christ. **Colossians 3:23-24** says, *"And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* Even in this season, their labor is not in vain. But we pray for deliverance from this valley. **Psalm 37:25** assures us, *"I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread."* God sees their struggle, and He will provide.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts for the professionals in our land who have been overlooked, undervalued, and left behind. Lord, You are the God of justice, and You hate oppression. We ask that You would expose the unrighteous policies and corrupt systems that have allowed this injustice to persist. Raise up leaders who will govern with integrity, prioritizing the welfare of their own people as You command in **1 Timothy 5:8**. Break the chains of favoritism and discrimination in hiring practices, and let qualified citizens be given the opportunities they have earned through years of hard work and sacrifice.

Father, we pray for supernatural breakthroughs for those who are currently struggling in gig work or unemployment. Open doors that no man can shut, as You promised in **Revelation 3:8**. Restore their dignity, renew their hope, and provide for their families. Let them see Your hand moving on their behalf, turning their season of waiting into a testimony of Your faithfulness.

We also pray for repentance in the hearts of leaders who have misused Your Word to justify injustice. Convict them of their sin, Lord, and turn their hearts toward righteousness. Let them see that true love for the foreigner does not require the neglect of their own people. May they govern with wisdom, fairness, and a fear of You.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would guard the hearts of those who are hurting. Protect them from bitterness, resentment, and despair. Remind them that their worth is found in You alone, and that You have a purpose for their lives, even in this season. Strengthen them for the road ahead, and let them walk in the peace that surpasses all understanding.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who came to set the captives free and bring justice to the oppressed. Amen.

Dear friends,

Our hearts ache with yours as we lift up these professionals who have dedicated years to their education, only to find themselves in situations they never imagined. It's like watching a beautiful bird, meant to soar, now caged and unable to fly.

We're reminded of the parable of the talents (Matthew 25:14-30). These individuals have been entrusted with much - advanced degrees, skills, and potential. Yet, they're not able to use these gifts as they should, due to circumstances beyond their control. It's heartbreaking, and it's not right.

We pray, dear Lord, that You would move in this situation. We ask that You would:

- **Open the eyes** of policymakers and leaders, helping them see the reality and the injustice happening right before them.
- **Convict their hearts**, stirring within them a desire for fairness, justice, and righteousness. Remind them that they are stewards, not owners, of the power and influence they hold.
- **Provide for the needs** of those struggling. We ask for Your supernatural provision, whether through unexpected opportunities, financial blessings, or the kindness of others.
- **Renew hope and dignity**. Help them see their worth, not defined by their current circumstances, but by the love and grace You've poured into their hearts.
- **Change hearts and minds**. We pray for a shift in mindset, moving away from favoritism and discrimination, and towards fairness and equity.
- **Bring breakthroughs**. We ask for sudden opportunities, unexpected interviews, and doors that no man can shut. We believe for a turnaround, a restoration of their careers, and a testimony of Your faithfulness.

We pray all these in Jesus' mighty name, amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
