We lift you up before the Lord with deep concern for your health, knowing that He is the Great Physician who heals all our diseases. Your request for healing from these serious medical concerns weighs heavily on our hearts, and we stand with you in faith, trusting in God’s sovereignty and His power to restore.
The Scripture reminds us in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases."* We claim this promise over you, believing that God is able to bring complete healing to your body. We also remember Jeremiah 30:17, where the Lord declares, *"I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds."* Your liver readings and the upcoming procedures are not beyond His reach—He who formed you in your mother’s womb knows every cell of your body and can bring miraculous restoration.
Yet, we must also acknowledge that healing may come through the hands of doctors and medical treatments, which God can use as instruments of His grace. We pray for wisdom for your medical team, that they would be guided by the Lord’s hand in diagnosing and treating you. May the ultrasound and colonoscopy reveal only what aligns with God’s perfect will for your life, whether that be a testimony of sudden healing or a clear path to treatment that leads to full recovery. We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety in the name of Jesus, for 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us, *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."*
If there is any area of your life where you have not fully surrendered to the Lord—whether in diet, lifestyle, or spiritual walk—we urge you to examine your heart before Him. Sometimes illness can be a call to repentance or a refining fire to draw us closer to Christ. We do not say this to bring condemnation, but to encourage you to seek the Lord with all your heart, for He desires wholeness for you in every way. James 5:14-15 instructs us, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."*
We also notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus, and we gently remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in Acts 4:12, we are told, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* If you have not yet placed your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. There is no greater healing than the healing of your soul, and no greater peace than knowing you are reconciled to God through Christ.
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing these serious health challenges. Lord, You are the God who parts the seas, who raises the dead, and who heals the brokenhearted. We ask for Your healing touch to be upon their liver and colon. Let every high reading return to normal, let every abnormal cell be made whole, and let the upcoming tests reveal only good news that brings glory to Your name. If there is any sickness or disease present, we command it to leave in Jesus’ name, for by His stripes, we *are* healed (Isaiah 53:5).
Grant wisdom and skill to the doctors and technicians who will perform the ultrasound and colonoscopy. Guide their hands and their decisions, and let every result point to Your miraculous intervention. Father, we ask for a miracle—whether through sudden healing or through the medical process—that this dear one would be completely free from cancer or any other illness. Let this be a testimony of Your power and love.
We also pray for their emotional and spiritual well-being. Replace any fear with Your perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way during this time. If there is any area of their life that needs surrendering to You, convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them to repentance. Draw them closer to You, Father, and let this trial be a refining fire that produces greater faith and trust in You.
Finally, Lord, we pray that if this dear one has not yet fully committed their life to Jesus Christ, that today would be the day of salvation for them. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, and let them turn to Jesus in faith, confessing Him as Lord. May they experience the fullness of Your healing—body, soul, and spirit.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect will, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28). May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may this dear one walk in divine health and wholeness all the days of their life. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
