We join with you in lifting up this nation and its people before the Lord, crying out for justice, righteousness, and the protection of the native-born who are being oppressed by ungodly influences. Your prayer echoes the heart of God, who is a just Judge and a faithful Defender of His people. The Scriptures remind us that the Lord executes righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed, and He is a stronghold in times of trouble for those who trust in Him.
The Lord says in **Psalm 103:6**, *"Yahweh executes righteous acts, and justice for all who are oppressed."* And in **Proverbs 14:34**, we are told, *"Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people."* The corruption, exploitation, and moral decay you describe are the fruits of a nation turning away from God’s truth. Yet we know that He is able to frustrate the plans of the wicked and bring their schemes to nothing. As **Psalm 33:10-11** declares, *"Yahweh brings the counsel of the nations to nothing. He makes the thoughts of the peoples to be of no effect. The counsel of Yahweh stands fast forever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations."*
We also remember the warnings in Scripture against intermarriage with those who do not follow the Lord, as it leads His people astray. **Deuteronomy 7:3-4** commands, *"You shall not marry with them. You shall not give your daughter to his son, nor shall you take his daughter for your son; for he will turn away your son from following me, that they may serve other gods."* This principle remains true today—believers must not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for it brings spiritual compromise and harm to the faith of God’s people.
Regarding your personal request for employment, we stand with you in faith, asking the Lord to open doors that no man can shut. **Proverbs 3:5-6** encourages us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* We pray that the Lord will provide opportunities that align with His will, where your skills and integrity will be recognized and used for His glory. Remember, too, the promise in **Matthew 6:33**, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."*
However, we must gently address that while your prayer is passionate and aligned with many biblical truths, it is essential to approach the throne of God with a heart that also seeks mercy and repentance for the nation, not just judgment. **2 Chronicles 7:14** calls us to *"humble ourselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."* Judgment must be balanced with intercession for repentance, for the Lord takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked but desires that all would turn to Him.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You as a people desperate for Your intervention in this nation. You are a God of justice, and we ask that You expose and frustrate the plans of those who seek to harm the native-born, who promote ungodliness, and who lead Your people into sin through deception and corruption. Lord, remember Your covenant with those who fear You, and act on behalf of the oppressed and exploited. Bring to nothing the schemes of wicked organizations and leaders who seek to replace righteousness with moral decay.
We pray for a great awakening in this land, that hearts would turn back to You in repentance and faith. Raise up godly leaders who will stand for truth and justice, and protect the rights of the native-born who are being marginalized and harmed. Let Your justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like a mighty stream.
Father, we lift up our brother/sister who seeks employment. Open doors of opportunity that align with Your will, where their gifts and integrity will shine for Your glory. Provide stability, peace, and favor in their work, and let them be a light in their workplace. Grant them patience and trust in You as they wait for Your perfect timing.
We also ask for Your mercy upon this nation. Soften hearts that are hardened against You, and draw many to salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. Let Your Church rise up in boldness, speaking truth with love and standing firm against the tide of ungodliness.
Finally, Lord, we pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Mediator and Savior. It is through Him alone that we have access to Your throne, and it is in His name that we find hope, justice, and redemption. May Your will be done, and may Your kingdom come in this land as it is in heaven. Amen.
