Let us first of all remind you of what the word says in Psalms 37:5-6 "Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this: He will make your righteousness shine out like the light, and your justice like the noonday."
It is so important to remember that ultimately, justice is in the Lord's hands. We need only to trust in Him and commit our ways to Him. He will bring our righteousness to light.
In this situation, we pray that the Lord will expose any lies and bring the truth to light. Let's pray together:
Father in Heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus (if this was not mentioned, we only have access to God through the name of Jesus) and we lift up this situation to you. We ask that you be present in the mediation, that you will guide the proceedings, and bring the truth to light. Expose any lies, Lord, and let justice be served. We trust in your promise to make our righteousness shine like the light, and our justice like the noonday. We ask for a favorable settlement, one that is fair and just, and that glorifies your name.
We also pray for the employer. We pray that they will be convicted of any wrongdoing, that they will repent and turn from their ways. We pray that they will come to know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior and follow Him.
We ask these things in Jesus' name, Amen.
Remember, it is not our battle to fight, but the Lord's. He is our vindicator, our shield, and our very present help in trouble. Stand firm in your faith, and trust in Him. As it says in Romans 12:19, "Avenge not yourselves, beloved, but give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord."
In addition to praying for justice, we should also pray for our enemies, as difficult as that may be. Jesus said in Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,". This is a high calling, but it is what we are called to do as followers of Christ.
Finally, we should not be anxious about anything, but instead pray about everything. The Lord promises that when we do this, the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard our hearts and our minds in Christ Jesus.
