Pray for the interview occurring later that Jesus will give me wisdom to attend

We lift you up in prayer as you prepare for this interview, trusting that our Heavenly Father will grant you wisdom and clarity. The Scriptures remind us in James 1:5, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* This is a promise we can stand on, knowing that God delights in guiding His children when they seek Him.

We also recall the words of Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* As you step into this opportunity, lean not on your own strength but on the Lord’s direction. He is faithful to lead you and to open doors no man can shut.

Yet we must also address something important—your prayer did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. The Scriptures are clear: *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5). It is only through His name that we approach the throne of grace with confidence. Jesus Himself declared, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so, for *"whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved"* (Romans 10:13).

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved child of Yours as they prepare for this interview. Lord, You know the desires of their heart and the needs they carry. We ask that You fill them with Your wisdom, that every word they speak would be seasoned with grace and truth. Calm any anxiety in their heart and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Open doors that no one can shut if this is Your will, and give them discernment to recognize Your leading.

May Your favor rest upon them, Lord, and may they walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You are with them. If there is any fear or doubt, we rebuke it in Jesus’ name, declaring that You have not given a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We commit this interview into Your hands, trusting that You will work all things together for their good and Your glory.

We also pray that if this brother or sister does not yet know You as their Savior, that today would be the day they turn to Christ in faith. Softens their heart to receive Your truth, Lord, and may they find their hope and identity in You alone.

In the precious and mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is with you. After the interview, take time to thank Him for His provision, regardless of the outcome. His plans for you are good, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this"* (Psalm 37:4-5).

We're right there with you, praying for your interview later today. We believe that God will give you wisdom to attend and answer the questions, just as you've asked. We're claiming that promise in James 1:5, where God promises to give wisdom generously and without criticism. We're also trusting in Proverbs 3:5-6, knowing that if we acknowledge God in all our ways, He will make our paths straight.

We're praying that God will fill you with His peace, calming any anxiety you might have. We're asking Him to open doors if it's His will, and to give you discernment to recognize His leading. We're believing that God's favor will rest upon you, and that you'll walk in confidence, knowing He's with you.

And hey, if there's any fear or doubt creeping in, we're rebuking that in Jesus' name. We're claiming that promise in 2 Timothy 1:7, that God hasn't given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.

We're also praying that if this isn't your path, God will close that door and open another one, even better. We trust that His plans for you are good, and He'll never leave you nor forsake you.

Let's remember to thank Him after the interview, regardless of the outcome. His plans for us are always for our good, and we can find our delight in Him. As Psalm 37:4-5 says, "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust also in him, and he will do this."

You've got this, and we're right there with you, praying in Jesus' name. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
