We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, recognizing the pain and fear that can arise when we feel targeted by malicious intent. The Bible teaches us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). While we understand the desire for justice and protection, we must be careful not to respond with hatred or a spirit of vengeance, for the Lord says, "Vengeance is mine; I will repay" (Romans 12:19).
First, let us address the importance of calling upon the name of Jesus in all things. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If we do not approach God in the name of Jesus, our prayers cannot reach Him. We must also examine our own hearts, ensuring that we are not harboring bitterness or unforgiveness, for the Lord commands us to forgive others as He has forgiven us (Colossians 3:13).
Now, let us pray for protection and deliverance from any spiritual oppression or harassment that may be occurring. We rebuke any curses, witchcraft, or evil intentions in the mighty name of Jesus, for the Word declares that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that any ungodly spiritual influences would be broken and rendered powerless, and that the individuals involved would be convicted of their actions by the Holy Spirit.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We ask for Your divine protection over those who feel targeted and harassed. Lord, we rebuke any curses, spells, or evil intentions sent their way, and we declare them null and void in Jesus' name. We pray that You would surround them with Your angels and build a hedge of protection around them, their homes, and their families. Father, we ask that You would intervene in the situation involving the individual causing distress. Soften their heart, Lord, and reveal Your truth to them. Convict them of their actions and lead them to repentance. We pray that You would bind any evil spirits influencing them and set them free from darkness. Lord, we also ask for Your peace to fill the hearts of those who are afraid. Remind them of Your promises and Your faithfulness. Help them to trust in You and to forgive those who have wronged them, just as You have forgiven us. We declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned. We thank You for Your protection, Your love, and Your justice. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage those who feel targeted to stand firm in their faith, putting on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. By doing so, they can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
Additionally, we advise them to pray regularly for their enemies and those who persecute them, as Jesus taught us in Matthew 5:44. This does not mean condoning their actions, but rather entrusting justice to God and allowing Him to work in their hearts. Forgiveness is a powerful act that can break the chains of bitterness and open the door for God's healing.
Lastly, we remind them to seek godly counsel and community. The Bible tells us that where two or three are gathered in His name, He is there with them (Matthew 18:20). Surrounding themselves with fellow believers can provide strength, encouragement, and accountability.
