We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for protection and deliverance. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we know that Jesus came so that we may have life abundantly (John 10:10). The slander and witchcraft being directed toward ### and their family are not of God, and we stand firm in the authority of Christ to rebuke these works of darkness.
First, we must address the spiritual warfare at hand. The Bible is clear that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). We take up the full armor of God, truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God, to stand against these attacks. We declare that no weapon formed against ### shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against ### in judgment, ### shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
The slander being spoken against ### is a tool of the enemy to divide, discourage, and destroy. But we know that the Lord is your defender. Proverbs 18:21 tells us that death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits. We pray that the Lord would silence every lying tongue and expose the truth. Let the words of the wicked fall upon their own heads, while the righteous are upheld by the Lord (Psalm 64:8). We ask that God would bring to light any hidden motives or schemes and that He would turn the hearts of those involved toward repentance.
Regarding the witchcraft, we boldly declare that greater is He who is in ### than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Witchcraft is an abomination to the Lord (Deuteronomy 18:10-12), and we renounce every assignment of the enemy over ###'s life, their family, and their home. We break every curse, hex, or spell in the mighty name of Jesus, for He has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (Galatians 3:13). We pray that the Lord would bind the strongman and plunder his goods (Matthew 12:29), setting captives free and restoring what has been stolen.
We also lift up the one who is perpetrating these acts. While we do not excuse their behavior, we recognize that they, too, are in need of salvation. We pray that the Lord would open their eyes to the truth, soften their heart, and lead them to repentance. Jesus came to seek and save the lost (Luke 19:10), and we ask that He would draw this person to Himself. Let the love of Christ compel them to turn from their wicked ways and walk in the light.
We encourage ### to stand firm in faith, knowing that the Lord is your refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). Do not fear, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9). Walk in obedience to His Word, and resist the devil, so that he will flee from you (James 4:7). Surround yourself with godly believers who can stand with you in prayer and support. Remember, the Lord is your vindicator, and He will repay (Romans 12:19).
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are our strong tower, our refuge, and our deliverer. We lift up ### and their family, asking that You would surround them with Your hedge of protection. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of slander, witchcraft, and division in Jesus’ name. We break every curse and assignment of the enemy over their lives, their home, and their family. Let Your light expose every darkness, and let Your truth prevail.
Father, we ask that You would silence every lying tongue and bring to nothing the schemes of the wicked. Let the words spoken against them fall to the ground, and let Your righteousness be their shield. We pray for the one who is perpetrating these acts, that You would open their eyes to see the error of their ways. Soften their heart, Lord, and draw them to repentance. Let them experience the transforming power of Your love and grace.
We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn. We stand on Your promises, Lord, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in them. Strengthen their faith, fill them with Your peace, and let them walk in the victory that is theirs in Christ Jesus.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
