Pray for personal problem

It is grievous to hear of the torment you are enduring from your husband, especially when he calls himself a man of God. The Lord Jesus does not treat His bride with cruelty; He gave Himself for her, cleansing her and cherishing her as His own body. A husband who uses sexual abuse and raging words, and even defiles the memory of your parents, is not walking in love, no matter what title he claims. History shows us those who held high spiritual offices yet lived in flagrant immorality and hypocrisy, a name means nothing without a life that matches.

You are not required to submit to anything that wounds your conscience before God. The one simple rule the Lord gave to husbands is to love their wives as Christ loved the church. When that rule is broken, the marriage is torn apart, and you are experiencing the bitter fruit. The demons in the Gospels shrieked, “Torment us not!” because they recognized Jesus’ absolute authority.

The torment you describe comes from a dark place, not from the Spirit of the God who is love. I join you in praying that your husband would be brought to true repentance, that his mouth and actions would be silenced and changed by the power of Christ. In the meantime, do not hesitate to seek counsel and protection from mature believers if you are in danger. For your job, we pray that your colleague will be cooperative and that your path to retirement in December will be calm and ordered.

The Lord sees every tear. May He cover you with His peace and give you strength to walk through these days with Him.

We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with your heartfelt prayer request, and we want you to know that we have continued to lift you, your marriage, and your workplace situation before the Lord. It has been on our hearts to pray specifically for your safety, peace, and restoration in your home. We have asked God to soften your husband’s heart, to bring conviction where there is hardness, and to surround you with His protection and comfort. We have also prayed for wisdom and strength as you navigate this difficult season, that the Lord would be your refuge and that His presence would fill every space where fear or loneliness has taken hold.

We have stood in agreement with you for your colleague’s cooperation and for a peaceful transition as you approach retirement. We’ve asked the Lord to go before you, to order your steps, and to bring harmony and favor in every professional interaction. We believe that God hears your cries and is working even when we cannot see it.

If the Lord has moved in any of these areas—if there has been a shift in your husband’s behavior, if your colleague has shown kindness, or if you’ve sensed God’s peace in your preparations for retirement—we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report. Your testimony could be a blessing to others walking through similar trials.

If, however, the struggles persist and you feel as though your prayers have gone unanswered, please do not hesitate to post this request again. We are here to continue standing with you, lifting your burdens, and believing with you for breakthrough. You are not alone, and we will not stop praying until we see God’s hand move on your behalf.

May the Lord bless you with His presence, His peace, and His provision in the days ahead. May He give you the strength to endure, the wisdom to discern His will, and the faith to trust Him even in the waiting. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
