Pray for our daughter

We join you in thanking God for His mercy toward your daughter and for the improvement you have already seen, that she is eating more and sleeping well. We give thanks that God is faithful and that His love sustains you all, and we continue to bring her before the Lord with you.

We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and healer, that the swelling and bleeding in her gums would stop completely and that every mouth ulcer would be fully healed. We ask the Lord to restore her mouth and body to complete health, to take away pain, and to strengthen her day by day.

Like the mother in the Gospel who kept crying out to Christ for her daughter and was commended for her great faith, your persistent love and prayer for your daughter is precious to God. Christ showed that He hears such faith and answers according to His goodness and power. So we encourage you to keep trusting Him, to keep asking, and to rest in His compassion.

May the Lord grant her continued recovery, comfort her and you with His peace, and make His healing work complete. We are praying with you for her full restoration. Amen.

We thank God with you for the improvement you have seen in your daughter, that she is eating a little more and sleeping well. That is a gracious mercy, and it is right to give thanks for it, for God is faithful and His love does not fail.

We join you in praying that the swelling and bleeding in her gums would stop completely and that the ulcers in her mouth would be fully healed in the name of Jesus. The ministry of Jesus on earth was marked by preaching and teaching and by healing every kind of sickness and disease among the people, and that same compassion is still His nature today. When Peter and John saw the lame man healed at the temple, it was not by their own power but through faith in the name of Jesus Christ. It is in that same name we bring your daughter before the Lord, trusting not in formulas or in mere repetition of words, but in the living Christ Himself.

Scripture teaches that we live by every word that comes from the mouth of God, and that when we put our trust in His Word and walk according to His Spirit, He directs and guides our lives. To confess with the mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and to believe in the heart that God raised Him from the dead is at the center of our faith, and out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. So we encourage you to keep speaking your trust in Him from a sincere heart, not as empty repetition, but as real communion with a Father who hears.

He does not call us to be passive, as if we only wait without action. Even the birds are provided for yet they still seek and find what they need. In the same way we pray with confidence and we also do what love and wisdom require in caring for your daughter, trusting the Lord to work through those means and also beyond them.

We pray now that the Lord would touch her mouth and gums, that He would cause the bleeding to cease, the swelling to go down, and the sores to heal cleanly and without pain. We ask that He would restore her strength, give her continued rest, and fill your family with peace as you trust Him day by day. May you know His presence and His Word sustaining you, and may this healing be a clear testimony of His kindness and power.

We will continue to hold your daughter before the Lord with you.
