Beloved of All
Please pray for my wife she goes in for a procedure on the third of November to have a bile duct stent removed, please pray they are able to get the last Gaul stone that was still in there in June when they tried to remove them but couldn’t get this one, please pray the surgeon has steady hands and everything goes good and as planned as her other procedures did, I really need your prayers. Also I asked for prayers before bout her kidney numbers to pray they start going up a bit, that I understood they wouldn’t go back to where they should be but up a few numbers. I want to thank all of you who prayed her numbers were at 15 they are at 16 now I know it’s not much but it’s better then the numbers going down send all your prayers for her please. Pray her back feels better and especially her numbers keep going up please and thank you again

We join with you in lifting up your precious wife before the throne of grace and we thank you for sharing this update with us. We rejoice with you that her kidney numbers have moved from ### to ###. Even a small increase is a mercy from the Lord and we praise Him for it, and we continue to ask Him for further restoration. We also stand with you in prayer for her procedure on the ### of ### for the removal of the bile duct stent and for the removal of that remaining gall stone that could not be retrieved in ###.

We are encouraged by your faithful love for your wife and your commitment to your marriage. God ordained marriage as a lifelong covenant and He is honored when a husband so diligently loves and covers his wife in prayer as you are doing.

We bring her body, her kidneys, her back, and the hands of her surgeon before our Great Physician. We are reminded of His promise in Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. And in Psalm 103:2-3, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. We know the Lord cares for every detail, including the skill and steadiness of the surgeon and the outcome of this procedure.

We also want to gently share something important with you because we noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus. We want you to know that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God the Father and that our prayers are heard. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We pray not only for physical healing but that you and your wife would know the full assurance of salvation through faith in Jesus, who died for our sins and rose again so that we might have eternal life and a restored relationship with God. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Him and to call upon His name.

We also take comfort in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And in Isaiah 41:10, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

So together we pray, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear wife to You. Lord, we thank You for the improvement in her kidney numbers and we ask You to continue to cause those numbers to rise and to strengthen her kidneys and her whole body. We ask You to touch her back and bring relief from pain and to restore comfort and strength. For the procedure on ###, we ask that You guide the surgeon's hands and give him wisdom, steadiness, and precision, that the stent would be removed without complication and that the final gall stone would be completely and safely removed. Let everything go as planned and even better than expected, and let her recovery be smooth and peaceful. We pray Your healing presence would be over her and that Your peace would guard both husband and wife as they wait and trust in You. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We will continue to keep you both in our prayers and we encourage you to keep trusting the Lord and giving thanks for each small victory He provides.

We are keeping you and your wife close in prayer as November 3 approaches. We hear how much you love her and how carefully you have been watching over every detail, from the stent and that remaining gallstone to her kidney numbers and her back pain. Thank you for letting us know her numbers moved from 15 to 16. We know that may look small to others, but when you have been tracking every change, any movement in the right direction matters. We join you in thanking God for that stability and in asking for continued gentle improvement.

Living with ongoing health concerns can wear on both of you in quiet ways. It is understandable to feel fragile and tired when progress is slow and so much seems to hang on one procedure at a time. Please keep staying in close contact with her medical team about the kidney numbers and the back discomfort, and let them know about any changes between now and the procedure so they can guide you well.

In these days before the procedure it can help to write down the two or three questions you most want the surgeon to answer, and to keep a simple daily note of how she is feeling to share at appointments. And give yourselves permission to lean on one or two trusted people for practical help and rest while you wait.

Father, we lift this dear wife to You and ask for Your nearness to her and to her husband. We ask for wisdom and steady hands for the surgeon and the whole care team on November 3, that the stent removal and the last gallstone removal would go as smoothly as possible. Ease her back pain and watch over her kidneys. Give them both peace in the waiting and strength for each day. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Your burden for your dear wife has been brought before us and we do take it to the throne of grace with you. We have marked your thankfulness that the Lord has shown a measure of mercy already, in raising her kidney numbers from 15 to 16, and we rejoice with you that even this small upward movement is a token of His kindness. We do not despise the day of small things, for we know that every good gift comes down from the Father of lights.

We will pray that on the third of November, when she is brought for the removal of the bile duct stent, the hand of the Great Physician will guide the hand of the surgeon. We very speedily care for bodily diseases and we are right to seek a physician or a surgeon for healing, yet we know that all healing virtue flows from Christ Himself. The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and even the least thing about Christ is healing. His is the power that can give steadiness to the surgeon's hands, wisdom to his mind, and success to his work, that the last gall stone which could not be taken in June may now be removed, and that the procedure may go as well and as peaceably as those before it.

We will pray also for her kidneys, that the Lord who has begun to show mercy will continue it, and that those numbers may rise further according to His wise will. We will pray that her back may be eased of its pain, and that she may know the reviving which comes from tasting those healing leaves. Remember that our Lord is the Sun of Righteousness risen with healing in His wings, and where He comes to dwell, pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction. The same hand that forgives sin is the hand that heals the body, and we are to seek first His grace and then look for His healing as He sees fit to bestow it.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, Father of mercies, we bow before Thee in the name of Jesus Christ, Thy Son, through whom alone salvation and access are found. We thank Thee for the life Thou hast given to this dear wife and for the mercy already shown in the lifting of her kidney numbers. We thank Thee that Thou hast sustained her through former procedures. Now we ask Thee to be with her on the third of November. Guide the surgeon, give him steady hands and a clear eye, and grant that the stent may be removed and the remaining stone taken away without harm. We ask Thee to look upon her kidneys and her whole body, and if it be Thy will, cause her numbers to rise further and her back to be relieved of pain. Above all, give to her and to her husband a quiet trust in Thy good providence, and a fresh taste of the healing that is in Christ, who bore our sicknesses and forgives our sins. Keep them both near to Thee, and let this trial draw them closer to the Saviour. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, our only hope and our heavenly Physician. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for sharing this request and for the update on your wife. We rejoice with you that her kidney numbers have moved from 15 to 16. Even a small increase is a mercy from the Lord, and we thank God for it while we continue to ask Him for more improvement.

We will be praying for her procedure on November third. We will ask the Lord to guide the surgeon to have steady hands and clear wisdom, that the bile duct stent will be removed safely and that the last gall stone that could not be removed in June will be taken out completely this time. We will also pray for her kidneys, that her numbers would continue to rise, for relief from her back pain, and for her overall healing and strength. We pray that everything will go as planned and that she will recover well.

This church is meant to be a place of healing, like a spiritual surgery where wounds are cared for, and we are glad you have come here for prayer. When you return home, we encourage you to take your Bible into your hands and call your wife and children together to read what you have heard and to pray together before you return to the duties of the day. Continue to seek the Lord first for forgiveness and grace through Jesus Christ, trusting that He hears those who come to Him earnestly, and bring all your needs for this life to Him as well.

We will keep praying for you both. May the Lord grant you peace as you wait, comfort your wife in any pain or anxiety, and show His power and kindness in this procedure. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope of salvation. Please keep us updated so we can continue to pray.

Thank you for sharing this update and for allowing us to pray with you for your wife. Your faithful love and concern for her is a beautiful picture of what marriage is meant to be, a lifelong covenant where husband and wife belong to one another, care for one another, and find joy and strength in one another. To rejoice with the wife of your youth and to cherish her in sickness and in health is pleasing to the Lord, and your prayers for her reflect that love.

We are joining you in prayer for the upcoming procedure to remove the bile duct stent and for the attempt to remove the remaining gall stone that could not be taken before. We are asking the Lord to guide the surgeon, to grant steady hands and clear wisdom, and to allow everything to go as planned. We are also praying for relief for her back and for her kidney numbers. It is encouraging to hear that the numbers have moved from ### to ###. Even a small increase is a mercy to thank God for, and we thank Him with you while we continue to ask Him to lift those numbers further and to strengthen her body.

We pray with confidence because we know that healing comes from God. Jesus showed that He did not work apart from the Father but in complete harmony with Him, and every healing is a work of God. In the Scriptures we see people who waited by the pool of Bethesda, and the stirring of the water became a way for them to release their faith for the work God wanted to do. In a similar way, medical care, the skill of a surgeon, and prayer can become points where we actively trust the Lord to act. We are called to bring our needs to Him in faith, believing He hears and He cares.

At the same time we remember that God does not heal in every case in the way we hope, and when He does not, it is not necessarily because of a lack of faith or because of sin. Paul prayed for his close companion Timothy who had frequent illness, and gave him practical counsel for his health, and Timothy was not immediately healed. There are eternal purposes of God that we do not fully understand in this life. That truth does not keep us from praying earnestly, it keeps us from despair if the answer looks different than we expect. We pray for complete healing, and we trust the Lord's wisdom and love whatever His answer may be.

So we will keep praying that the Lord will grant a successful procedure, that the stone will be removed safely, that her kidneys will continue to improve, and that her pain will ease. We pray also that He will sustain you both, that your home will know His peace, and that your faithful love for your wife will continue to be a witness of Christ's love. When one in a home trusts the Lord, that faith brings a holy and gracious influence over the whole household, and your prayers are part of that covering.

May the Lord give you both comfort and strength in these days, and may you feel His presence as you wait on Him.
