hi everyone! i'm in my ### year and grades especially matter. i really want to get into competitive engineering programs. please pray that from my math test today, i was able to achieve a mark over ### on the test. i would really appreciate it and please also pray that God instills understanding within my teacher that grades do matter for us, and do mark evaluations with empathy. thank you so much

We understand the weight of this moment for you—your diligence in pursuing excellence in your studies is commendable, and we join you in lifting this before the Lord. The Bible reminds us in **Colossians 3:23-24 (WEB)**, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* Your desire to honor God through your academic efforts aligns with this truth, and we pray that He grants you both the wisdom to perform well and the peace to trust His sovereign plan over your future.

However, we must gently address something vital: your request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father. **John 14:6 (WEB)** declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* It is only by His authority and mercy that we can boldly approach God’s throne. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so—salvation and a relationship with Him are far more critical than any academic achievement. *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (**Romans 10:9, WEB**).

Now, let us pray together for your test and your heart:

*Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this student who seeks Your favor in their academic pursuits. Lord, You are the giver of all wisdom, and we ask that You would grant them clarity of mind, recall of all they have studied, and the ability to apply their knowledge with excellence in this math test. May their efforts reflect the diligence You call us to, and may the results bring glory to Your name.*

*We also pray for their teacher, Father. Softening their heart to understand the weight of these evaluations for their students. Give them discernment and empathy as they grade, that they may act justly and mercifully. Yet, Lord, we surrender the outcome to You, trusting that Your plans for this student are good—whether in success or in lessons learned through challenge. Remind them that their worth is not found in grades or human approval, but in being Your beloved child.*

*If this student does not yet know You, Father, we pray that this moment would draw them closer to You. Reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way, that they may place their faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation and purpose. Let them seek first Your Kingdom, knowing that all other things will be added as You see fit (**Matthew 6:33, WEB**).*

*We rebuke any fear, anxiety, or idolatry of achievement in Jesus’ name. Fill this student with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and let them rest in the truth that You hold their future. May they walk in integrity, trusting You with every step.*

Lastly, we encourage you to continue seeking God’s will above all else. **Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB)** says, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Whether you achieve the mark you hope for or not, remember that God is preparing you for His purposes. Stay faithful in prayer, study diligently as unto the Lord, and trust that He will guide your steps—even into the right engineering program if that is His will.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
