Hi, I would love it if you could join me in praying for my son ### My deepest prayer is for him to know God personally, experience His salvation, and walk in His ways. Thank you for standing in faith with me!" He hanging around the run people and he's start drinking again. I ask this is Jesus Christ Name

We stand with you in fervent prayer for your son, lifting him before the throne of grace with heavy yet hopeful hearts. The concern you carry for his soul and the way he is walking is deeply felt, and we join you in crying out to the Lord on his behalf.

First, we must acknowledge that salvation is a personal decision, but it is one that God desires for all people. The Bible tells us, "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9 WEB). Your son is precious in God’s sight, and He is patiently waiting for him to turn from the path he is on. But we also know that the company he keeps is influencing him, as Scripture warns, "Do not be deceived. Bad company corrupts good character" (1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB). The drinking and the crowd he is running with are not just habits, they are strongholds that are pulling him away from the life God intends for him.

We rebuke the spirit of rebellion and deception that has taken hold of your son. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, he shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). We speak life over him and command the chains of addiction and ungodly influence to be broken in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The Lord says, "I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly" (John 10:10 WEB), and we claim that promise for your son today.

We also pray for you, dear mother, that the Lord would strengthen you with His peace and wisdom as you navigate this difficult season. It is not easy to watch a child stray, but your prayers are powerful and effective (James 5:16 WEB). We encourage you to continue speaking truth into his life with love and patience, trusting that God’s Word will not return void (Isaiah 55:11 WEB). Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9 WEB).

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and intercession for this young man. We ask that You would draw him to Yourself with cords of love and bands of kindness. Break the chains of addiction and ungodly friendships that are binding him. Open his eyes to see the emptiness of the life he is living and the fullness of life that is found only in You. Surround him with godly influences who will speak truth into his life and model the love of Christ. Soften his heart to receive Your salvation and give him the courage to turn away from sin and run to You. We declare that he is not too far gone, for You are a God who redeems and restores. Work mightily in his life, Lord, and let him experience the transforming power of Your Holy Spirit. Strengthen his mother as she stands in the gap for him, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We ask all these things in the powerful and precious name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved. Amen.

We're standing with you in prayer for your son. The ache of watching someone you love slip back into old habits and harmful company is heavy, and we know this is wearing on your heart. Your deep desire for him to know God and walk in his ways is the right place to hold onto, that kind of longing comes from a mother’s love, and it matters.

What your son is facing is a hard battle, and often addiction’s pull is tangled up with shame, isolation, and needs that feel too big to name. You don’t have to carry the weight of figuring it all out alone. Many families have found real, practical support through groups like Al-Anon or a local church’s recovery ministry, where you can find steady encouragement, a place to share without judgment, and people who understand the chaos of loving someone who struggles. It’s not giving up on him, it’s making sure you’re strengthened to keep hoping and praying well.

We're lifting your son before the Lord right now.
Jesus, we ask for this son, that You would block every pull toward alcohol and every friendship that drags him down. Open a door for him to see Your mercy in a way that changes him from the inside out. Draw him to a saving knowledge of You, and bring trustworthy people across his path who can walk with him toward freedom. Hold this mom steady. Give her wisdom about when to speak and when to be silent, and cover her with peace that goes deeper than the circumstances. In Your powerful name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

There is no distance so far from the Father’s house that the eyes of His mercy cannot see, nor the feet of His grace outrun. Though your son has taken his journey into the far country, where the cup mocks and the companions corrupt, yet the sovereign, electing love of God can lay hold upon him even there. You see the drinking renewed, the wrong company chosen, and the heart running after vanity; but the God who brought Manasseh out of the dungeon and received the prodigal with kisses, still works wonders among the sons of men.

Do not measure the possibility of his salvation by the darkness of his present walk. The plan is God’s, the power is God’s, the provision is all grace. Your deepest prayer is the right one: that he know God personally and experience His salvation. That is no small thing, but it is the very jewel of the crown, salvation from sin itself, emancipation from the chains that bind him. And this salvation is not by his own resolve, nor by mere moral improvement; it is by looking unto Christ, who is lifted up for the chief of sinners. How simple, how instantaneous is that look! It does not require a long reformation first, but a turning of the eye of faith to the Crucified One. By this, the prodigal arose and came; by this, the thief entered Paradise.

Press on, then, in prayer, for the promise is not to you alone, but to your household. The same God who called the child of wicked Jeroboam by His sovereign grace can call your son out of the entanglements of the ungodly. Let not the elder brother’s murmuring, your own fears or the world’s cynical whispers, drive him away or make you despair. Set this before the throne: “Lord, Thou hast said, Look unto me and be ye saved. Cause him to look.” And believe that as you stand in faith with us, the Father already sees him afar off, and the kiss of reconciliation is not beyond hope. The horse may not be made to drink, but the Spirit can create thirst where there was none. Yours is but to bring him constantly to the water, to plead, and to wait. God’s honor is engaged to save the meanest of His sheep who come. Your son’s current wanderings are the very darkness against which the light of sovereign grace shines brightest. Rejoice in God’s salvation as you wait, and never treat this great matter as a light thing, it cost the Son His life. I lay my hand alongside yours in this petition, that in the name of Jesus Christ, the chain may break, the eyes open, and a new song be put in his mouth.

Your tears for your son are a sign of godly sorrow, the kind that works repentance unto salvation, not to be repented of. I join you in prayer, not with empty words, but with a shepherd’s warning and hope. The path he walks now, surrounding himself with those who pull him back to drink, is a path away from the heavenly gift he may have once tasted. To turn again to the pollutions of the world after knowing the good word of God is to put the Son of God to open shame, crucifying Him afresh.

There is no second sacrifice, no other washing to renew him if he scorns the one already offered. Yet do not despair: though there is no second laver, the door of repentance stands wide. By tears, prayers, and works of mercy, the stain can be washed away. The tares can become wheat again, Paul, the Publican, the Thief on the cross all proved this.

But the renewal must be his own. No mother’s faith, no ancestral claim, can substitute for his own turning. The Captain of our salvation brings many sons to glory, but each must take hold of that salvation himself, after the lovingkindness of God. We will pray that God grants him a sharp sorrow for his sins, not the worldly grief that leads to death, but the wound that heals.

And remember, even the angels are sent forth as ministering spirits for those who are to inherit salvation; how much more will they attend to your prayers if you persevere? Use gentleness to win him, as the Lord left the tares for a season, but do not mistake silence for approval. Exhort him, warn him, weep for him, but do not bless his rebellion. I will stand with you in faith, asking the Lord to break the snare, to make the company of sinners bitter to him, and to draw him back before his heart grows hard.

But let us also remember: the disobedient who refuse every call cannot be sheltered by a pastor’s indulgence. I love your son’s soul too much to speak smooth things. Let us together implore the God of all mercy for his true conversion.

The ache you feel for your son is nothing small in the sight of God. One of the most beautiful things in Scripture is the first time the word love appears. It is not between a husband and wife, but of a father for his son. A father’s love is fierce, protective, and unrelenting. That love you carry for your son is a reflection of the heart of your heavenly Father, who knows exactly what it is to give and to yearn and to wait.

Your son is walking a path you know leads nowhere good. Those companions, the pull back to drinking, the drift away from wisdom, it is the old story of what happens when a young man listens to the wrong voices. Proverbs speaks directly to this: “My son, if sinners entice you, consent thou not.” You long for him to hear that call of a loving Father rather than the whisper of the world.

But the deepest need, as you already know, is not just that he walk away from bad influences. It is that he come to the One in whom true life is found. There is only one Son in whom the Father has given eternal life. Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son, and the record God has given is clear: whoever has the Son has life. Whoever does not have the Son does not have life. All hopes for your son’s future, his freedom, his rescue, they are all bound up in this one reality. He must come to know Jesus personally, to receive the salvation that is in no other name.

I will stand with you and pray to that end. But do not lose heart in the waiting. The Father who gave His own beloved Son up for us is not indifferent to the pain of a parent’s heart. Abraham raising the knife over Isaac is a shadow of what God would do, giving His Son in love for a lost world. That same love is reaching out for your son even now. We ask together that the Spirit would break through every deception, that your son would see the emptiness of the path he is on and turn to the Lord who is rich in mercy. God’s love can change everything. Keep holding on to that promise, and we will keep praying in the mighty name of Jesus.
