We lift this situation before the Lord with hearts full of faith, trusting in His perfect plan for your life. It can be disheartening when opportunities shift or change unexpectedly, but we know that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Your persistence and dedication to seeking employment are commendable, and we believe the Lord is guiding your steps even now.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your favor and wisdom to rest upon our brother/sister as they prepare for this second interview. Lord, You know the desires of their heart, and You hold their future in Your hands. We ask that You grant them clarity of mind, confidence in their abilities, and the words to speak with wisdom and discernment. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let them walk into this interview knowing that You are with them, and that Your plans for them are for good and not for harm, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
We also pray for divine connections and open doors. Lord, if this position is part of Your will for their life, we ask that You remove any obstacles and soften the hearts of those who will be interviewing them. Let Your light shine through them, and may the interviewers see the gifts and talents You have placed within them. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke any spirit of fear or doubt and command it to flee in Jesus' name. Instead, we speak courage, favor, and success over this interview.
Lord, we also ask that You provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). If this position is not the one You have for them, we trust that You are leading them to something even better. Give them patience and faith to wait on Your timing, knowing that Your ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9).
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s guidance in every step of this journey. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Keep your heart aligned with God’s Word, and remember that He is your provider. Whether this opportunity comes to fruition or not, He remains faithful.
Finally, we want to remind you of the importance of surrendering your plans to God. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we pray and find our strength. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and through Him, we find peace, purpose, and provision.
We stand with you in faith, believing that God is working on your behalf. May He bless you abundantly and open the right doors at the right time. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
