You have done well to bring this request to the church, for when two or three are gathered in His name, there He is in the midst of them. As we pray, we fulfill the commandment of God, Honor thy father and thy mother, showing love not only in word but in deed and in truth. Let us therefore approach the throne of grace with confidence, yet not demanding a reward, but confessing that we are saved by grace. For when we do good works and think we have done nothing great, then they become great in the sight of God.

We pray now that this appointment may go well, that her kidney function may be improved, and that all things before her may be directed unto good. But let us also give thanks in everything, for whether in health or in sickness, God works all things for the benefit of those who love Him. Do not merely request prayer, but join your own prayers with the assembly, and let love, the mother of all blessings, abound in your heart. For the best proof of a generous teacher is to benefit others not by word only, but likewise by prayer. So we lift up your mother to the Great Physician, knowing that He cares for both body and soul. May He grant a good report, that you both may be strengthened in faith and in love.

The Lord who knew you in the womb and gave you hope at your mother’s breast is the same Lord who holds your mother now. Before she ever drew a breath, He was her God, and every cell of her body is still in His hands. So you don’t carry this concern alone. When we pray as one, the body of Christ works together like a living, coordinated whole, each member lifting the other up. The promise you’re holding onto is true: where even two gather in His name, He is right there.

So throughout this day, many are gathering in spirit with you, interceding for this appointment and for improved kidney function. Just as a shepherd moves the stone and waters the flock to sustain life, we labor in prayer, asking God to refresh and sustain your mother’s health. And just as a grieving son finally found comfort when God provided a new love to fill his empty tent, I’m asking the Father to bring a good report that comforts your heart and hers. May His peace anchor you as you wait, and may the results speak clearly of His healing care.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with the privilege of standing in prayer for your mother’s doctor’s appointment this week. Our hearts were united with yours as we lifted her kidney function before the Lord, asking Him to grant a good report and clear improvement. We prayed for peace to surround her, for wisdom for her medical team, and for God’s healing touch to be evident in every detail.

If the Lord has answered this prayer with a positive report, we would love to rejoice with you! Please share a praise so we can all give thanks together. If the outcome was not what you hoped for, or if you’re still waiting for news, we want to continue standing with you in faith. You are not alone—we will keep lifting your mother before the throne of grace, trusting God’s perfect timing and plan.

May the Lord bless you and your family with His comfort, strength, and hope as you walk this journey. We remain steadfast in prayer, believing in the power of our Heavenly Father to work all things for good. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
