We hear the deep distress in your heart, and we come before the Lord with you in this moment of conviction and fear. What you’ve shared is a serious matter, not just the lie itself, but the oath you took in vain, invoking your mother’s life as collateral for deception. Scripture is clear: "You shall not take the name of Yahweh your God in vain, for Yahweh will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain" (Exodus 20:7 WEB). While you did not swear by God’s name directly, invoking something as precious as your mother’s life in a false oath is still a violation of the principle behind this commandment. It treats something sacred with contempt, and that grieves the heart of God.

The guilt you feel is not without cause, it is the Holy Spirit convicting you of sin (John 16:8). But this conviction is not meant to crush you; it is meant to lead you to repentance. The enemy would love for you to remain in this place of fear and torment, whispering that your mother’s life is now in danger because of your words. But we rebuke that lie in the name of Jesus Christ! The devil is the father of lies (John 8:44), and he seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). We command any spirit of fear, guilt, or condemnation to flee from you right now. You are not under the enemy’s power, you are under the blood of Jesus, which speaks a better word than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24).

First, we must address the sin of lying and the false oath. Proverbs 12:22 says, "Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight." The act of "snitching" on your friend may have been misguided, but the greater sin here is the deception and the misuse of an oath. Confess this sin to the Lord, for He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Repentance means turning away from the sin and not returning to it. If you have not already, you must also seek forgiveness from your friend for the betrayal, not just for the lie. True repentance bears fruit in keeping with it (Matthew 3:8).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, acknowledging the weight of sin that has been committed. We thank You, Lord, that You are a God who is rich in mercy and abounding in steadfast love (Ephesians 2:4). We confess the sin of lying and the false oath that was taken in Your presence. We ask for Your forgiveness, Father, and we receive it by faith in the name of Jesus Christ. We renounce the lie that was spoken and the fear that has taken root in our hearts. We break every word spoken in deception and command it to have no power over this situation. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on the truth that Your word will not return to You void (Isaiah 55:11).

Lord, we specifically pray for the protection of this mother’s life. We rebuke any spirit of death or harm that would seek to touch her because of these words. We declare that she is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no curse or oath spoken in falsehood can prevail against her. We speak life over her, Lord, and we thank You for Your hedge of protection around her (Job 1:10). We also pray for healing in this relationship between friends. Lord, mend what has been broken and restore trust where it has been lost. Give wisdom to both parties on how to move forward in a way that honors You.

Father, we ask that You would fill this heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let the fear of the enemy be replaced with the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10). Teach us to guard our tongues and to speak only words that build up and give grace to those who hear (Ephesians 4:29). We thank You, Lord, that You are a God who redeems even our mistakes and turns them for good (Genesis 50:20). We trust in Your sovereignty and Your love.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Now, let us encourage you with the truth of God’s Word. The fear you are experiencing is not from God. 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." You are not powerless in this situation. You have the authority in Christ to resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Stand firm in that truth.

It is also important to recognize that your relationship with God is not based on your performance or your ability to keep oaths. It is based on the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. If you have never placed your faith in Him as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is a free gift, not something we can earn (Ephesians 2:8-9). If you have already placed your faith in Christ, then remember that there is no condemnation for those who are in Him (Romans 8:1). Your sin has been paid for, and you are clothed in His righteousness.

Lastly, we want to address the act of "snitching." While Scripture does not use that term, it does speak to the importance of truth and justice. Proverbs 31:8-9 says, "Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute. Open your mouth, judge righteously, and serve justice to the poor and needy." If your friend was involved in something harmful or sinful, it may have been your responsibility to speak up. However, the way in which you did so, through deception and a false oath, was not honoring to God. Moving forward, seek to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15) and let your words be seasoned with grace (Colossians 4:6).

We encourage you to walk in the light from this moment forward. Confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed (James 5:16). Surround yourself with believers who can hold you accountable and encourage you in your faith. And remember, God is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). You are not defined by this mistake. You are defined by the love of Christ, who gave Himself for you.

We can feel how heavy this is for you, the panic that your words might have set something terrible in motion, the guilt over the lie itself, and the lonely ache of carrying it all alone. We’re so sorry you’re in this place, and we’re praying with you now.

Please know this: God does not hand the power of life and death over to a rash oath spoken in a moment of fear. You are not that powerful, and His mercy is not that fragile. The terrifying thought that your mother is in danger because of your sin is not from Him; it’s fear masquerading as truth. You lied because you were afraid, and now that same fear is twisting your love for your mom into something unbearable. But Jesus disarms the accuser. Your mistake is real, but it does not make you a hostage.

What we hear in your words is a tender conscience that’s become tangled in guilt, guilt that’s now punishing you far more than God ever would. He sees your sorrow and wants to lift it, not add to it. So we’d encourage you to pause, alone with Him, and name the whole thing plainly: the lie, the fear, the panic. Then let His forgiveness land. Don’t fight the recurring thoughts by bargaining or rebuking over and over; just return to the simple fact that you are forgiven, and that your mother’s life remains securely in His hands. If someday you sense the quiet nudge to gently speak truth to the friend you harmed, that’s a grace you can follow then. Right now, your own heart needs the healing.

Jesus, wrap this struggling soul in your peace. Forgive the lie completely, and break the power of fear that says it can undo your love. Watch over their mother and keep her safe, not because of any oath but because you are faithful. Still the storm in their mind and let them sleep tonight held by your steady goodness. Give them wisdom for any next steps, and let them know they are not alone. Amen.

Abstinence and sobriety for me. May God bless you. Watch over your life. All prayer. Worship. Scriptures and faith. Gods will. We love and pray and trust. Gods will. Thank you God. Lord Yeshuas name amen.

The shame and terror that now shake your soul are a merciful alarm. To swear falsely by that dear life was to trifle with the name of God, for every oath implicitly calls upon Him as witness. Your conscience rightly accuses you, and the fear of some dreadful consequence is the echo of guilt in a heart not yet altogether hardened. But do not imagine that the answer is to rebuke spirits as if they were the root of the matter; the plague lies nearer home, in a false tongue and a disobedient heart. Look rather to Him who alone can take away guilt and give a new nature.

‘Fear not’ is the Lord’s own word to trembling worms such as we are. Not because your sin is pardonable by good intentions, but because Jesus Christ has made a complete atonement for all the transgressions of His people. He bore the sharp pangs of death not for the righteous, but for liars, for secret sinners and open blasphemers, that they might be healed. As you fix your faith upon Him, the death He died becomes the death of your sin. Where unbelief breeds panic, simple trust in the Crucified brings a great calm. No covenant with death can hold when the Redeemer speaks; His blood disannuls every dark agreement and breaks every chain.

Let this trouble lead you to honest confession before God. Renounce the lie; make such amends as you can toward your friend. Then turn your eyes upon Jesus, and the fear that has made you a slave shall loosen its grip. When guilt is removed, the Spirit will likewise remove guile, and you will learn to love the truth in your inmost parts. That is the sure way of peace: not battling phantoms with incantations, but resting the whole weight of your guilt upon Him who died and rose again. Trust in Him, and fear not.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The sickness in your soul is the very kind the devil delights in, for he has traded the true fear of God for a superstitious dread. You tremble as though your words possessed a power that belongs to the Creator alone, as if a rash vow from a lying mouth could bind the life of another. God is not a servant of your oaths; He does not execute the terms of a perjurer’s tongue. Do you not know that the law’s curse, which is the real death sentence for sin, has been completely exhausted upon Christ? He became a curse for us, hanging upon the tree, to redeem you from the curse of the law. If you are His, no lying oath you uttered can impose a new curse where the true and lasting one has already been lifted.

The guilt you feel is a sharp grace, warning you that you have aligned your mouth with the father of lies. But to rebuke a spirit is not a matter of chanting words into the air against some shadowy threat. The enemy you must trample underfoot is this very unbelief that makes you more afraid of a superstitious consequence than of the sin itself. You should grieve not merely because you fear your mother might die, but because you used her life to stitch a veil over your betrayal of a friend. Fear, indeed, is appointed to restrain us from cruelty, but if it only leads to a dread of magical punishment and not to a hatred of the sin, the soul remains in bondage.

Confess this as the wicked deed it is, and then look to the table of your Lord. This Body, which even barbarians reverenced in a manger, is the sinew of your soul and the bond of your mind. Why do you fear that God will enact your curse, when He has already fed you with the very Meal that bursts the gates of brass and looses the dead from every prison? If Christ has made you one with Himself, do not separate yourself from His promise by clinging to a pagan-like dread. Bear the correction manfully, not because the deed cannot be undone, but because the Resurrection has already undone the finality of every curse. Honor the Son, who has the power of judgment, by trusting that His blood silences the accusations your own words have screamed. Let this fear drive you not to a futile attempt at sorcery-reversal, but to the firm confidence that your dishonesty, great as it was, is swallowed up in a life and an immortality that no rash oath can touch.
