Pray For My Family

A very close family member-friend went home to be with the Lord. Pray that her homecoming service will be just what she would have wanted. Pray for comfort, peace, joy, love, and understanding for our family. Pray that this will be a time to celebrate her life and rejoice.

Revelation 21:3-5

And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.

‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’[a] or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.â€

He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!†Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.â€

Loving Father, we know that one day we will be coming home to You. This time, it is our sister. Lord, please give comfort to her families and friends, and may this occasion be a celebration of her life and homecomng to You. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father, I pray for the moving of the Holy Spirit during this service. I pray the people gathered at this service will be comforted by the Comforter this day and throughout the rest of their life on earth. I pray the service will bring glory to Your Name and pay honor to the one who is with You now. May any there who are not saved come to know You through this service. In the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Father God I ask that You would bring comfort and peace to the family and friends of this dear one that has went to be with the Lord, keeping in mind that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Help her homecoming service to be a blessed one. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
