Pray for my family and me

We join with you in lifting up your family before the Lord and we thank you for sharing this prayer request with us. Your desire for protection, peace, and good health for those you love is close to God's heart, and we stand with you in asking for His covering over your household.
We are encouraged by the promise in Psalm 91:1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. And in Psalm 121:7 Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. God is our true protector and He watches over our going out and our coming in. We also hear your longing to live in peace without trouble. While the Lord does give peace, His Word teaches us that in this life we will face trials, but His peace sustains us through them. Jesus said in John 16:33 In the world you have trouble, but cheer up. I have overcome the world. The peace He offers is deeper than the absence of trouble, as Philippians 4:7 says, And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
You asked that God would take away bad people and leave only good ones in your lives. We understand the desire to be surrounded by godly influences and protected from harm or evil intent. The Lord does call us to walk with wisdom and to guard our hearts, and He does deliver us from evil. At the same time He calls us to love even those who may intend harm and to pray for them, as Matthew 5:44 says, Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. We pray not only for protection from harmful influences, but for discernment to choose wise and godly fellowship and for grace to extend forgiveness and to seek peace where possible, as Romans 12:18 says, If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. We also pray for your health, for God cares for our bodies as well as our souls, as 3 John 1:2 says, Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers.
We noticed your prayer did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share why His name is so essential. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 reminds us, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We encourage you to place your trust fully in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to bring every prayer to God in His name.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one and their family to You. We ask for Your divine protection over their home, over their bodies and over their souls. Cover them under Your wings and keep them from all evil. Grant them Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their hearts, even in times of trouble. Give them wisdom to discern the relationships You would have them keep and those You would have them step away from, and help them to walk in love and forgiveness even toward those who have meant harm. Provide for their health and strength, and help them to grow in faith and to prosper in their souls. Draw each member of this family closer to You through Jesus, and let them know the assurance of salvation through His name. We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to dwell daily in His Word and in prayer, trusting that He hears you and that He is faithful to keep you. As you seek Him, He will lead you into peace and wholeness in Christ.

Your prayer for your family has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the Lord who hears and answers according to His mercy and wisdom.
The Scripture says, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. That perfect peace is not found in the absence of trouble, but in the presence of Christ. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and to do the will of Jesus is rest. When the heart is stayed upon Him, even with sorrows surging round and duties pressing, there is a peace which the world cannot give and cannot take away. Acquaint yourself with God and be at peace. Stay in your closet with your God, meditate on His Word day and night, and you shall find that peace like a river.
We pray that the Lord will deliver you from the noise of archers and give you peace within your borders. He who delivered Israel when the lamb was slain is able to make your deliverance effectual, to set a hedge about you and your household, to keep you and your loved ones in Jesus keeping whether near or far away. We ask Him to remove from your lives those influences which would draw you from Him, and to surround you with those who love Him and will help you walk in His ways. For you are kept by His power, justified by faith, and have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
We also pray for your health. At the Exodus there was not one feeble person among their tribes, for the Lord accompanied deliverance with health and strength. We ask the Lord in His goodness to grant to you and your family health of body and vigor of spirit, and if affliction comes, to make it work for your good, that you may live and declare the works of the Lord. Sickness has often brought health to the soul, and loss has conferred gain, but we pray that He would graciously preserve you in health for His service.
Let us pray together. O Lord our God, look in tender pity upon this family. Keep them in perfect peace as they trust in You. Cover them with the blood of Christ which alone brings peace with You. Deliver them from every evil influence and from those who would do them harm, and set their feet among the godly. Grant them health and strength according to Your will, and keep them walking in Your ways all their days. Let them know the blessedness and overflowing happiness of believing in Christ, and cause their home to be a place where Your name is magnified.
