Silas
Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing your burden so honestly. I have prayed for you and will continue to pray that the Lord will fight for you, guard your place, and give you deep peace and rest.
What you are feeling is not new. From the earliest days people have faced the same kind of pressure, being plotted against, losing sleep, wondering if God sees. The story of Job reminds us that there is often more going on than we can see. Behind Job's sudden losses there was an unseen conflict, and the accuser had been watching him closely, looking for a way to attack and even arguing before God that Job only served Him for blessing. God knew all of it, and He had set a hedge around His servant. He has not changed. He sees the plans being made against you at work, He hears every word spoken when you are not present, and nothing escapes His notice.
It is also important to remember what Job learned through his friends. They were quick to assume that trouble must mean he had done something wrong and that God was punishing him. That was not true. Suffering does not automatically mean you are under God's judgment or that you have failed Him. God is fair and He is just, and He does not turn away from His own. You do not have to carry the weight of false accusations or the fear that God has set Himself against you.
The peace you are asking for is exactly what God invites you to seek from Him. Scripture says that when He gives quietness, no one can make trouble, and that if you bring your cause before Him and acquaint yourself with Him, you can know His peace even while others are stirring up strife. He is the one who can guard your sleep when anxiety and opposition would steal it, and He is the one who can stand between you and those who oppose you. Through Jesus, who alone brings us to God, you have a mediator who understands your need and intercedes for you.
So my prayer for you is that the Lord Himself will be your defender. May He quiet the schemes against you, may He give wisdom and favor with your boss, and may He establish you where He wants you to be. If it is His will for you to remain in this position, may He make that clear and keep you there. Above all, may He give you His quietness of heart, so that you can sleep in peace and rest in His care, knowing that your life is in His hands and not in the hands of those who plan against you.
Keep bringing your cares to Him in prayer, trusting that He is just, that He loves you, and that He will do what is right. Cast your burden on Him and ask Him to teach you and lead you day by day. He is faithful to keep those who trust in Him.
