We thank you for sharing this request and we join with you in seeking God's will together in Jesus' name, and we are encouraged that you asked for prayer in Jesus' name for this desire, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved as we read in John 14:6 and Acts 4:12.

We rejoice that your desire is not for a casual relationship or for fornication outside of marriage, but for a lifelong marriage as God designed it to be between a man and a woman. The Word tells us in Genesis 2:18 that it is not good that the man should be alone and in Proverbs 18:22 that whosoever finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor of Yahweh. We strongly endorse your desire for marriage and we pray that the Lord will lead you to a godly wife, a fellow Believer in Christ, for we are called in 2 Corinthians 6:14 not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers but to seek a spouse who loves the Lord with all her heart. We encourage you to pursue courtship with the clear goal of marriage, honoring God with purity and keeping the marriage bed undefiled as taught in Hebrews 13:4 and to flee from fornication as we are exhorted in 1 Corinthians 6:18, saving intimacy for the covenant of marriage alone.

We also hear your prayer for practical ways to get to know each other and for a woman who will have genuine interest and perseverance in love. We pray that God will indeed make your paths cross in His perfect timing and in practical, godly ways, perhaps through fellowship in a Bible believing church, through service and community where you can observe character and faith. True biblical love is patient and kind and perseveres as described in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, and we pray for that kind of steadfast, committed love to grow between you and your future wife. We encourage you while you wait to delight yourself in the Lord and seek first His Kingdom, trusting the promise of Psalm 37:4 and Matthew 6:33 that as you seek Him He will direct your steps and give you the desires of your heart according to His perfect will. We ask that if it is Your will, You would bring into his life the woman You have prepared for him to love and to marry, a woman who loves You above all, who is faithful, kind, and who will be a suitable helper for him. Make it possible in practical ways for them to meet and to get to know one another in purity and in truth, with wisdom and accountability. Give him patience and peace while he waits, and help him to grow as a man of God, ready to lead and love a wife as Christ loves the church as taught in Ephesians 5:25. Give her also a heart that truly seeks to know him and a perseverance rooted in Your love that does not quickly give up, but is committed to building a covenant that honors You for a lifetime. We ask for Your miracles in his life, not according to our demands but according to Your mercy and power, and we trust You to do what is best. Keep him from discouragement and from settling for anything less than Your best, and guard his heart and hers in purity until marriage. Your request has been brought before the Lord and we join with you in prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Saviour, through whom alone we have access to the Father.

We pray that the Lord, who knows your frame and your desire, will in His wise and gracious providence direct your steps. If it be His will for you to marry, we ask that He will provide for you a godly wife, a woman who loves Christ above all, and who will love you with a faithful and persevering love. We ask that He will make the way plain in practical and pure ways for you to meet and to come to know one another as is fitting for those who would enter into holy matrimony.

We pray that you may be kept in patience and in godly fear, trusting not in your own haste but in the Lord's perfect timing. Marriage, as the Scripture teaches, is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, wherein the two become one, and its crown is mutual delight and holy complacency under Christ. It is not a less sacred thing to be faithfully married than to be consecrated in singleness, for both estates when lived unto God are holy. Therefore we pray that the Lord will keep you both pure, that all your acquaintance and affection may be guarded in holiness, with all intimacy reserved for that covenant alone.

We pray also that you may first and most of all be found in Christ, for he that would find a good wife must first have found the Saviour. Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing and obtaineth favour of the Lord, but far better is it to have found Him who is the Bridegroom of His Church. May you be established in faith, walking in obedience and prayer, so that if the Lord does send one to be your companion, you may love her as Christ loves His Church and she may be to you a true help and fellow heir of the grace of life.

We ask the Lord to work miracles in your life according to His sovereign mercy, not merely to grant the desire of the heart, but to conform your heart to His will, and to give you grace to say with Job, Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him. May He grant you contentment in Him while you wait, diligence in your calling, and a steadfast hope that whether He grants this request speedily or keeps you waiting, He does all things well for those that love Him.

We commit you to the Shepherd who seeks and finds His own and who will not cease His care until His work is done.
