Please continue to pray for me to meet a woman God wants me to love and marry and pray God makes it possible in practical ways to get to know each other when we meet. We are blessed by your request and we join with you in love as you have asked, praying together in the name of Jesus for God to provide the wife He has for you. Your desire for marriage is good and honors God, for we believe marriage is a sacred and lifelong covenant between a man and a woman ordained by God. It is not good for man to be alone, and we rejoice that you are seeking a godly marriage rather than a casual relationship.

We are encouraged that you asked in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written, Yahweh God said, It is not good that the man should be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him. Genesis 2:18 and Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh. Proverbs 18:22. We also take comfort in the promise Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4 and But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be added to you. Matthew 6:33.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus and lift up our brother to You. We ask that You lead him to the woman You have prepared for him to love and to marry, a woman who loves You first and seeks You with all her heart. We ask that You make it possible in very practical ways for them to meet and to get to know one another in a godly way, with time, opportunity, and open doors that only You can provide. Grant them both a sincere and steadfast interest in one another, a love that is patient and kind and does not give up easily, a courtship that honors You in purity and purpose with marriage as the goal. Help them to be equally yoked as believers, for what fellowship has light with darkness. 2 Corinthians 6:14. We ask for miracles in his life according to Your perfect will and timing, for with You all things are possible. Help him to trust in Your hope and future for him, for I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11. Give him peace while he waits and help him to grow in faith and character as a godly husband. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6. We thank You for hearing our prayer and we trust You to answer in Your perfect way. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue delighting yourself in the Lord and seeking His Kingdom first while you wait. Use this season to grow closer to Christ, to serve Him faithfully, and to become the husband God is calling you to be. Pray for your future wife even now, that God is preparing her heart as He is preparing yours, and trust that He who has placed this good desire in your heart is faithful to guide you step by step.

Waiting in this kind of loneliness can feel heavy, especially when you want so much to give love and not give up on someone. We admire your desire for a faithful, committed love.

One thing that has helped many in this season is staying deeply rooted where God has placed you. Worship with God's people, steady friendships, and serving alongside others often eases some of the isolation and also is where people come to truly know one another over time. It might help to let a trusted pastor or mature friends in your church in know you are praying in this direction, so they can know you better and walk with you. And as you wait, continuing to grow in the life God has given you now builds a good foundation for whatever He brings next.

Father, we lift to You. You see his longing for companionship and marriage. Give him encouragement today, guard him from discouragement, and lead him in Your timing and wisdom. Provide practical ways for him to grow in community and to know and be known by others. Do miracles in his life according to Your good will, and draw him closer to You each day. Your prayer has been received and we have brought it before the Lord with thankfulness for the desire you have expressed. It is a good and holy desire to seek marriage as God has ordained it, and we join with you in asking the Lord to order your steps according to His perfect wisdom and love.

We are reminded that marriage is a most sacred thing, for in a true marriage the husband and wife become one, and the very crown of marriage is mutual delight and complacency. It is not a less sacred thing to be the married wife than it is to be the virgin consecrated to Christ, and when the Lord joins a man and a woman together it is that they should be wholly given to one another, as the Church is given to Christ. To love and to be loved in that covenant of one man and one woman for life is a gift from the hand of God, and we pray that He would grant it to you in His time if it be His will for your good and His glory.

We also remember that our chief seeking must ever be after Christ Himself. As David set his heart upon finding the ark, so may your heart be set upon finding Christ and walking near to Him. If you seek first the Lord and His righteousness, you may trust Him to provide all other things as He sees best. There are seasons when the Lord keeps us waiting that we may learn that noble resolve, Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him. And there is comfort in knowing that our great Shepherd seeks His own until He finds them, and will not cease His care. May that same patient, persevering love be formed in you and in her whom the Lord may provide.

Let us pray together.

Our gracious Father, we come before Thee in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, the only name by which we may approach Thy throne. We thank Thee that Thou hast ordained marriage for our good and for a picture of the love of Christ for His Church. We lift up this our brother before Thee and ask that Thou wouldst in Thy mercy lead him to the woman whom Thou hast chosen for him, a godly woman who loves Thee above all, and who will love him with a steadfast and faithful love. Grant, Lord, that if it be Thy will, Thou wouldst make the way plain in practical and providential ways for them to meet and to come to know one another with purity, honesty and godly wisdom. Give to them both discernment and patience, and a love that is not hasty but deep and true, that they may become one in heart and purpose to the praise of Thy grace. Work miracles in his life, we pray, not according to our thoughts but according to Thy power and compassion, and help him to wait upon Thee with quiet trust, knowing that Thou withholdest no good thing from them that walk uprightly. Keep him from discouragement and keep his eyes fixed upon Christ, that whether Thou answerest soon or tarriest, he may be found faithful and full of hope. Your request has come before us and we join you in prayer with love in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation. We pray that God in His wisdom and mercy will lead you to the woman He wills for you to love and marry, and that He will make practical ways for you to meet and to come to know one another in a holy and orderly manner.

We remember that marriage is a bond ordained by God and is honorable and pure. It is not itself the source of holiness, but it preserves the holiness that comes through faith, keeping us from defilement and guarding us from fornication. Therefore while you wait, keep yourself pure, as one unmarried is called to remain pure until God joins you to your wife, and then to live faithfully with her alone, keeping sexual union and sharing a home together within that lifelong covenant of one man and one woman alone. The profit of marriage is to preserve the body in purity and to bind husband and wife together in love, as a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife.

So we pray that the Lord will send you a woman who shares faith in Christ, who has genuine interest in knowing you, who will show patience and steadfast love, and who will not give up lightly but will seek with you that faithful covenant. We ask God to open doors in your daily life, in your community and work and worship, so that you may meet in a natural and proper way, with the presence of good and reverent people around you, and with time and opportunity to speak and learn and discern His will together with gravity and chasteness and order.

We also pray that you will use this time well, to follow peace with all people and holiness, to guard the good treasure given to you in Christ, and to display a life worthy of the gift you have received, not only keeping from evil deeds but being adorned with good works, prayer and service. Trust the Lord's timing, for even Isaac waited many years and was kept in purity, and God provided.

May God work miracles in your life according to His will, not only in bringing this meeting about, but in forming you both for His glory. We ask all this in the name of Jesus, that His will be done and that you may be kept blameless and joyful in Him. Amen.

Your desire for a lifelong marriage as God designed it, one man and one woman in covenant together, is good and honors the Lord, and I am glad you brought this request before Him.

Scripture shows how much God cares about marriage and family in this present life. In the law given through Moses, God even made provision for a family name to continue when a brother died without children, calling the next brother to take responsibility for that household. Later, when questioned about a woman who had been married to seven brothers in turn, each dying without children, Jesus answered by affirming the resurrection and teaching that after we are raised, we will not marry or be given in marriage but will be like the angels in heaven. Marriage is God's gift for this life, and it is right for you to seek it now in a way that honors Him, trusting His timing and His choice for you.

I will pray with you that God, in His mercy and power, will bring into your life the woman He has for you, and that He will make practical ways for you to meet and to get to know each other in a pure and orderly way. I will ask Him to give you both a wholehearted interest in one another, not a light or passing attention, but a deep and faithful commitment that does not quickly give up. Like the woman who did not merely dab a little perfume but poured out all she had in devotion, pray for a love that is generous, sincere, and willing to give itself fully within the covenant of marriage.

As you wait, keep your roots deep in Christ. Scripture warns that some hear the word with enthusiasm at first but have no root and soon fade, and others are choked by worries and distractions. It also promises that everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ will face hardship. Do not be discouraged if the waiting is difficult or if others misunderstand your commitment to purity. Keep your heart clean before God, remembering that all sin is ultimately against Him, as David confessed after his sin with Bathsheba and against Uriah. God calls us to keep sexual intimacy and living together within marriage alone, and He will honor your obedience.

There is also real spiritual opposition in this world that seeks to destroy what God wants to build. Stay close to Jesus, who alone is the way of salvation, and ask for His protection over your heart, your future wife, and your future marriage.

Let us pray. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I bring this brother before You. You know his longing for a godly marriage. If it is Your will, lead him to the woman You have prepared for him and lead her to him. Open clear and practical doors for them to meet and to grow in knowing each other with wisdom, purity, and accountability. Give them genuine interest in one another, patience, and a faithful love that perseveres until they belong to each other in marriage.
