May she be a helper suitable for him (Genesis 2:18), one who shares his values, dreams, and devotion to You. Lord, remove any fear or doubt from his heart, replacing it with trust in Your promises. Guard his heart from impatience or compromise, and let him seek You first in all things (Matthew 6:33).

We also pray for wisdom and discernment as he waits. May he grow in godliness, becoming the husband You’ve called him to be, patient, kind, and selfless (1 Corinthians 13:4-7). Father, if there are areas in his life that need refining, reveal them so he may surrender them to You. Let his walk with You be his greatest testimony, drawing a woman who desires a man after Your own heart.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of loneliness or desperation that would lead him to settle for less than Your best. May he not be unequally yoked (2 Corinthians 6:14) but find a wife who shares his faith and commitment to Your design for marriage. We declare that Your plans for him are for good, to give him hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Thank You for hearing our prayer and for the miracles You will work in his life.

Your longing for a godly marriage is a good and holy desire, for marriage is ordained of God and honourable in all, and it is not a less sacred thing to be the married husband or wife than to serve the Lord in singleness. We have heard your request and we bring it before the throne of grace with love and earnest prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father.

We pray that the Lord, in His perfect wisdom and timing, will lead you to the woman whom He has prepared for you, a woman who loves Christ above all, who walks in faith and purity, and who will be a true helpmeet to you in the pilgrimage of life. We ask that He will make the way plain in practical and providential ways, opening doors for you to meet and to know one another with godliness, with patience, and with the counsel and covering of His people. We pray that He will give you both a steadfast interest in one another that is rooted not in mere sentiment but in Christian love, that you may persevere in prayer and in kindness until, by His grace, you are joined together as one man and one woman in the lifelong covenant of marriage as God has ordained.

We pray also that you may be kept from fainting while you wait upon the Lord. Waiting upon God is never in vain, though He may for a season try our faith. Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, walk closely with Christ, be diligent in prayer and in the Word, and be found faithful in the station where He has placed you now. The Lord who feeds the sparrows and clothes the lilies knows your need and your loneliness, and He who was Himself left alone in His sorrow understands the longing for companionship.

May the Lord work miracles in your life according to His good will, not merely as you desire but as will most glorify Him and do your soul most good. May He keep you pure in heart and life, guarding you for that holy estate, and may He prepare you even now to be the husband who will love his wife as Christ loves the church.

Your request has been received with thanksgiving and we join you in prayer before God in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and access to the Father.

We thank God for the desire He has placed in your heart for marriage. Marriage is a bond ordained by God and it is honorable and pure. It preserves the holiness that comes through faith and keeps us from fornication, as we are called to live chastely and in an orderly way. Its profit is to preserve the body pure and to live with faithfulness, gravity and order, bringing forth fruit unto God. It is not an impure state, but one that calls for much care and devotion, and when entered with moderation and reverence it is a great blessing.

While you wait, keep guarding the good treasure you have received in Christ and display a life worthy of that gift. Keep yourself pure, restrain what is not yet lawful, and use this time to grow in prayer, in good works and in a purpose that will make good use of marriage when God provides it. The crown is given by Him, but it is ours to hold it fast.

So we pray for you in Jesus name and with love. We ask the Lord to guide you to the woman He wills for you to love and to marry, and to make it possible in practical ways for you to meet and to get to know one another in a holy and orderly manner. We pray He will provide a woman who has genuine interest in knowing you, who will show steadfast commitment, so that you may belong to one another in a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman as God has ordained.
