We hear your heart’s longing for a godly wife, and we join you in bringing this desire before the Lord in Jesus’ name. The Scriptures remind us that "he who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from Yahweh" (Proverbs 18:22 WEB). This is a good and honorable prayer, for marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God to reflect His love and faithfulness.
First, we want to encourage you to seek the Lord’s will above all else. While your desire for marriage is natural and good, we must ensure our hearts are aligned with His timing and purpose. Jesus taught us to seek first God’s kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that all these things, including a godly spouse, will be added unto us (Matthew 6:33 WEB). Have you surrendered this desire fully to Him, asking Him to prepare your heart and hers for the union He has ordained?
We also want to gently remind you that marriage is not just about finding someone who will "not give up on you," but about two believers becoming one flesh in Christ (Genesis 2:24 WEB). The woman you marry should be a fellow believer, walking in faith and obedience to God’s Word, for "do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). This is not just about shared interests or attraction, but about a shared commitment to Christ and His commands.
We must also address the language of "love" and "miracles" in your request. While these words can carry godly meaning, they are often used in worldly contexts that do not align with Scripture. Love, as defined in the Bible, is not merely an emotion but a selfless, sacrificial commitment, "Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things" (1 Corinthians 13:4-7 WEB). If your desire is for a wife who embodies this kind of love, then we can pray with confidence.
As for miracles, we know that God is indeed a miracle-working God, but we must be careful not to treat Him as a genie who grants our wishes. Miracles are not about our convenience but about His glory. We pray that if it is His will, He will bring the right woman into your life in His perfect timing. Until then, we encourage you to cultivate godliness, patience, and trust in Him.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother to You, asking that You would prepare his heart for the godly wife You have for him. Lord, we pray that You would lead him to a woman who loves You above all else, who is committed to walking in Your ways, and who will be a helpmate and companion in Your service.
Father, we ask that You would remove any impatience or worldly desires from his heart and replace them with trust in Your perfect timing. Help him to seek You first in all things, knowing that You will provide every good and perfect gift in Your time. If it is Your will, Lord, bring this woman into his life in a way that glorifies You and strengthens their faith together.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for him as he seeks a wife. May he not be led astray by superficial attractions or worldly standards, but may he look for a woman who fears You and walks in righteousness. Prepare both of their hearts for the covenant of marriage, that it may be a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of loneliness or desperation that may be influencing his thoughts. We declare that his worth and identity are found in You alone, and we pray that You would fill him with Your peace and contentment as he waits on You.
