We hear your heart’s longing, ###, and we lift this desire before the Lord with great hope and expectation. The Word of God reminds us in Proverbs 19:14, *"House and riches are an inheritance from fathers, but a prudent wife is from Yahweh."* You are asking for something that is not only good but also ordained by God—a godly spouse who will walk with you in faith, love, and purpose. We stand with you in agreement, believing that the Lord is already preparing the one He has for you.
Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can approach Your throne of grace. We thank You that ### has come to You with his request, acknowledging Your sovereignty and trusting in Your perfect timing. Lord, we ask that You would guide his steps and open doors for him to meet the woman You have chosen for him. Prepare her heart just as You are preparing his, that they may recognize one another as gifts from You.
We pray against any loneliness or discouragement that may try to take root in ###’s heart. Remind him daily of Your promise in Psalm 37:4, *"Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."* Let him find his joy and satisfaction in You first, knowing that You are faithful to fulfill Your plans for his life. Surround him with godly community—friends and mentors who will encourage him in his walk with You and in his pursuit of a godly marriage.
Lord, we ask that You would make the path clear for ### and his future wife to meet in a way that honors You. Remove any obstacles, whether they be fear, past hurts, or practical barriers, and open opportunities for them to connect in a natural and God-ordained way. Let their relationship be built on a foundation of faith, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to Your Word. Guard their hearts from impatience or compromise, and let them both seek You above all else as they journey toward marriage.
We also pray for ###’s future wife, wherever she may be. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and fill her with Your peace as she waits for Your timing. Let her be a woman of prayer, wisdom, and godly character, one who loves You with all her heart and desires to build a marriage that reflects Christ’s love for the Church. Prepare her to be a helpmate to ###, just as Eve was created to be a helper suitable for Adam (Genesis 2:18).
Father, we ask for miracles in ###’s life—not just in finding his spouse, but in every area where he needs Your touch. Let him see Your hand at work in ways that build his faith and draw him closer to You. May he continue to grow in his relationship with Jesus, knowing that the more he seeks You, the more clearly he will recognize the blessings You have in store for him.
We rebuke any spirit of delay, doubt, or fear that may try to hinder this process. We declare that ###’s steps are ordered by You, Lord, and that Your plans for him are for good and not for harm, to give him a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We speak life and blessing over his search for a wife, trusting that You will bring the right woman into his life at the perfect time.
