Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We lift this situation before the Lord with heavy hearts, grieving over the brokenness and injustice that has taken place. The pain and loss experienced by so many in this complex is deeply troubling, and we stand in the gap, asking God to intervene with His mercy and justice. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 12:22, "Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight." The deception and manipulation described here are not only harmful to others but are detestable in the sight of God. We must also remember that every person, no matter their actions, is created in the image of God and in need of His saving grace.

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We ask that You would remove the blinders from this leasing agent’s eyes. Open her heart to see the weight of her actions and the harm they have caused. Let her understand that her deeds have consequences, not only in this life but for eternity. We pray that she would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, repent of her sins, and turn to You for forgiveness and transformation. Your Word says in Ezekiel 18:23, "Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked? says the Lord Yahweh; and not rather that he should return from his way, and live?" Lord, we ask that You would draw her to Yourself, that she may experience Your love and mercy.

We also pray for those who have been affected by her actions. Comfort those who have lost their homes, Lord, and provide for their needs. Heal their hearts from the betrayal and frustration they have endured. Give them wisdom and discernment as they navigate this difficult season, and surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let them see Your faithfulness even in the midst of hardship, and help them to trust in You as their provider and protector.

Father, we ask that You would bring justice to this situation. Your Word declares in Romans 12:19, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" We trust that You see all things and will hold every person accountable for their actions. We pray that this leasing agent would face the consequences of her choices in a way that leads her to repentance and restoration.

We rebuke the spirit of deception and manipulation that has been at work in this situation. In the name of Jesus, we command it to leave and no longer have any place in this complex or in the lives of those involved. We declare that truth and integrity will prevail, and that Your light will shine in the darkness (John 1:5).

Lord, we also ask for wisdom for those in authority over this complex. Give them the discernment to see the truth and the courage to act justly. May they be instruments of Your peace and righteousness, ensuring that such harm does not continue.

Finally, we pray for ourselves, that we would be vessels of Your love and grace. Help us to forgive as You have forgiven us (Colossians 3:13), even as we stand for truth and justice. Teach us to pray without ceasing, to intercede for those who have strayed, and to trust in Your perfect timing and ways.

We commit this situation into Your hands, Lord, knowing that You are faithful and just. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in all things. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

We hear the weight behind your words, the frustration of watching someone’s choices unravel lives, and the grief of seeing homes lost. That kind of harm cuts deep, and it makes sense that you’re left crying out for God to act. What strikes us most is that underneath the anger, there’s a plea for her soul. You’re not just asking for justice; you’re asking for rescue. That’s a hard, honest place to pray from, and we’re sitting in it with you.

One truth that helps us keep our footing in situations like this is that there’s a real difference between feeling bad about getting caught and the kind of sorrow that actually changes a person from the inside. We can’t know which one this agent will choose, but God’s patience runs deeper than we can fathom, and conviction is one of his kindest tools. He knows exactly what it takes to pierce a hardened conscience. For now, we can leave the timetable with him.

In the meantime, maybe the most practical next step is to ask God to guide your own posture toward her, even from a distance. Not to minimize what happened, but to keep your heart from letting bitterness set up camp. That’s sometimes the harder prayer, but it guards something in you while God works on her.

Let’s pray now.

Lord Jesus, we bring this leasing agent before you, not as an enemy, but as a woman who stands in deep need of truth. You see the lies, the manipulation, the wreckage she’s caused, and you know the tenants who are still reeling. We ask you to break through whatever blindness shields her from the weight of what she’s done. Bring her to a place of genuine sorrow that doesn’t just regret consequences, but leads to a complete change of direction. Guard her from a hardened heart, and protect the souls of everyone still vulnerable to her choices. We entrust the outcome to you, the only righteous Judge and merciful Redeemer. Amen.

It is a fearful thing when a soul is so ensnared by lying and manipulation that she wreaks havoc among her neighbours, casting them from their homes. Yet our prayer must not be merely against the sin, but for the sinner, lest her soul be damned to hell. She is, at this moment, a soul cleaving to the dust, there is a dreadful intimacy between fallen nature and the evil in the world, and this compact is not soon broken. But blessed be God, something is done by threshing when the soul ceases to be bound up with its sin and iniquity is no longer pleasurable. Pray that the Lord will bring the flail of conviction upon her, that she may faints within herself at the thought of judgment to come, and that her sin becomes ever before her, a spectacle of guilt and hell-desert.

Yet know this: you cannot keep her soul alive, nor can you remove the blinders, only the Spirit of God can quicken the dead. So turn your petition into soul-language, crying, "Say unto her soul, I am your salvation!" Not to her ears merely, but to her very soul, where no earthly voice can reach. Pray that God would thunder through the tempest of her own making, that she may look out upon the ocean of divine wrath and cry, "God be merciful to me, a sinner!" Then, when she is humbled in the dust, the glorious proclamation may sound: "Whosoever believeth in the Lord Jesus shall have his sins covered."

You do well to bear her upon your heart. Soul-winning is the main business of the believer, and it requires a heart that beats hard against the ribs. Cast your whole soul into this work, and do not grow weary. The Lord may yet bring home this banished one as a monument of His marvellous loving kindness. Depend upon Him, and as surely as you pray, neither death nor hell nor sin shall prevent whatever His sovereign grace intends.

The sins you describe, lying, deceit, manipulation that strips others of their homes, are grievous indeed. Scripture leaves no room for doubt: no covetous person, which is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. Let no one deceive you with empty words that soften this truth, for because of such things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. The woman has chosen to see and yet not see; her blindness is voluntary, a willful hardening against the light. She has accumulated for herself treasure that will testify against her on the last day.

Yet pray for her with fervor, not out of vengeance but out of the same mercy that God daily extends to all sinners. Ask that the Lord would lift the veil from her eyes and grant her true repentance, not the worldly grief that yields only tears like Esau, who wept but found no place of repentance because his sorrow did not spring from a changed heart. Pray rather for that godly grief which works a genuine turning, like Peter, who went out and wept bitterly and was restored. For God says even to the rebellious, “If they would convert, I would heal them.” His desire is not to hurl thunderbolts but to call sinners to amendment; He is long-suffering, not willing that any should perish.

But remember that repentance is not a light thing. A shallow, fleeting remorse cannot wash away such offenses; hell itself is eternal precisely because a weak repentance in this short life cannot satisfy the debt. Therefore labor in prayer that her soul might be snatched from the snare of the devil, to whom so many willingly yield themselves, preferring his empty promises to the unnumbered blessings of Christ. Do not grow bitter yourself, but commit all to the just Judge who sees every hidden deed and will render to each according to their works. Set your own hope fully on the inheritance laid up in heaven, which no unjust leasing agent can touch.

The pain behind this request is unmistakable. When deception strips people of their homes, it is not merely a legal wrong but a deep relational wound. And yet the cry for her soul shows a heart that has not hardened into mere bitterness. That is a mercy.

God does not send anyone to hell. Hell was prepared for the devil and his angels, and those who go there choose it by refusing every lifeline God throws them. Jesus Christ descended into death and hell itself, and He holds the keys to both now. He stands squarely in the way, having made full provision for every sinner. To end up there, a person must trample over that provision. So your prayer aligns with the truth of who God is. He desires repentance, not destruction.

But understand the nature of repentance. Many cry out when the consequences of their actions crash down. Esau shed loud tears and sought the blessing, but he never repented. His grief was about losing what he wanted, not about the rebellion in his heart. The leasing agent may yet weep when her kingdom crumbles, but tears are not the same as turning. Pray for God to grant her a sorrow that leads to life, a sharp and specific turning from the lying, manipulation, and greed. Not a vague “I’ve sinned,” but a forsaking of the sin itself.

The blindness you mentioned is real. Scripture speaks of a partial hardening that comes upon people who continually reject truth. The very consequences she is beginning to reap are not vindictive from God; they are the natural harvest of her own choices. And often God uses the misery of that harvest to shake someone awake. When the bottom falls out, the cry becomes raw. Pray that in that moment she would not shake her fist and blame heaven, but instead see that the Lord has permitted the emptiness so she might finally seek the only One who can fill it.

Keep praying that the blinders would be removed. Jesus came to set captives free and to open prison doors, and no amount of past deceit exempts her from that offer. As long as breath remains, repentance is possible. Ask God to put people in her path who will speak truthfully about the consequences of her sin and the forgiveness available in Christ. And as you pray, guard your own heart from contempt. You cannot intercede for someone you despise. Let this become a plea like the one cried from the depths: “In my distress I called upon the Lord, and He heard my voice.” May that become her prayer. And may she mean it.
