Pray for healing

We lift up in prayer, standing together in faith as we seek the Lord’s healing touch for her. Father God, we come before You with heavy hearts, asking for Your divine intervention in her life. You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and holds our very breath in Your hands. We ask that You would strengthen her body, restore her liver, and bring complete healing to every part of her being. Lord, we know that Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord. We claim this promise over today, trusting that You are working even now to bring restoration and wholeness.
We also pray for the hands of the surgeons and medical team attending to her. Guide them with Your wisdom, give them steady hands, and fill them with discernment as they care for her. May every procedure be covered by Your grace, and may Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Father, we rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, and discouragement that may be trying to take root in her heart or the hearts of her loved ones. Your Word tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We declare that is surrounded by Your love, upheld by Your strength, and covered by Your peace. We speak life over her body, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.
We also want to gently remind everyone reading this that true healing, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual, comes only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or made whole (Acts 4:12). If anyone reading this does not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we encourage you to turn to Him today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). It is only through Christ that we have access to the Father and the hope of eternal life.
Lord, we ask that You would not only heal physically but also draw her closer to You through this trial. May she experience Your presence in a tangible way, and may her faith grow stronger as she trusts in You. We pray for her family and friends as well, give them endurance, hope, and unwavering faith as they walk this journey with her.

The very leaves of the tree are for healing, and the least thing about Christ is charged with restoring power. This affliction of the liver, these repeated surgeries, are but the fever that lays the soul low, yet the Great Physician is present, and in His Presence is the time of visitation, the day of salvation. Calvary is the place for the healing balm; it is not so much to point out disease as to apply the remedy. When He took Peter’s wife’s mother by the hand and lifted her up, the fever left her, and immediately she arose and ministered unto Him. The healing must come before the serving, and the healing is in the contact established through His Incarnation, through His taking our nature and bearing our griefs.
There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Do not look upon this as a distant hope; the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings. Pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy, He spoke first the word of forgiveness, for these are one. Ask, then, for the double cure. Ask that the healing virtue which His Grace infuses will work health and cure, that the life blood be changed, the spirits affected, and the nature made other than it was before. Wonder not if recovery should be slow; and as strength returns little by little, acknowledge in each increase that the Lord has a new claim on affection. He has promised, “I will strengthen them in the Lord.” The promise will be assuredly performed.
Let the one lying sick with the fever of this terrible malady be laid in the Presence of Jesus, hoping and expecting both forgiveness and healing. It is not the minister, not the surgeon’s knife, but the Lord alone who does the work of a real saving and a real healing. The power to save is conspicuously present when Christ is teaching, and faith comes by hearing the Word of God. O healing leaves of that tree which is Christ, change the frame, make the heart whole, and give a taste of that fresher, fairer life yonder in Heaven, where those bright faces owe their freshness to this very balm.
